Have a lot of fun, train and title, but do not breed them.  If you wish to breed blues, first change the standard, it can be done, after all,  long stock coats are back in prettty soon.

Blue is a serious fault according to the standard.  A blue (or white, or liver, or panda, or long-coat, or soft ear, or unsound, or poor temperament - ) could not be breed surveyed nor conformation rated, therefore it should NOT BE BRED.  However, that doesn't mean you who own these dogs should not be able to do whatever you want with the dog, and whatever the dog is capable of doing (except breeding).  Go ahead and work the dog!  Have fun with it, be proud of what you and your dog accomplishes together.  The color means  nothing in the work aspect.  If a club is prejudice against your dog because of it's color - find a different club.  Don't give up!  Have fun with it.  Good luck!

A good workign dog is a good working dog. So, please give him or her the pleasure of doing it. Do not breed the dog, but go for it. I'd very much like to see it work. Good luck!

Yeah, wuzzup, it's the CAPS.

I'm blind too, but if you use the size option to enlarge,  we'll all read easier! I promised myself I would get a real eye check up after Xmas, just to see how blind I've become. Those were the days, 20/20 vision, being able to read exit signs, menus, and really, really tiny print on medicine bottles. You know your eyes are bad when you ask your sick kid to read the medicine bottle so you can dose him!

WELL IM GOING TO LOOK FOR THE SIZE OPTION.YES THE EYE DOCTOR SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA.I JUST KEEP GETTING NEW GLASSES ONLY TO FIND THEM CHEWED UP IN THE PUPPIES PEN.WHEN YOU NEVER HAD TO WEAR GLASSES THEN HAVE TO GET USED TO WEARING THEM AND KEEPING TRACK OF THEM, IT'S EASY TO FORGET THEM SOMEWHERE.IT WOULD BE FUNNY IF THE GLASSES DID NOT COST SO MUCH.ONCE I LOOSE THEM IM BLIND AGAIN TO FIND THEM.OH SUCH A VICOUS CYCLE..DARN THIS GETTING OLD!!

If anyone is against training and titling a blue GSD then that's just not right.  Not everyone who trains will breed their dogs.  For cryin' out loud we've got people training and titling MUTTS and there is nothing wrong with that.

On the other hand, the world is full of idiots, so I don't assume that all clubs would allow an off-color.  A club that I used to belong to did not allow white GSD's to train... would not even let them on the field.  That club has since folded from lack of members.  ;)
