I agree, my first male was a dominant dog. I have had two softer ones since than, but if I could find another dominant male, I'd buy him in a heartbeat!

The device talked about here is the -- Draminski Ovulation Detector for dogs -- and it takes more than 1 reading to gain a result so I believe the vet had no idea of how to use it. I have never seen a vet use one of these.
To use the Draminski it is nessesary to take a reading twice a day to gain a resulting graph and 1 day post the highest reading, as it drops, is time to mate.
A friend loaned me hers to use on my bitch but my bitch saw it coming and no way was she going to let me near her with that thing even with my OH holding her, so I went with prog test.
If anyone would like more info on the Draminski I do still have all the info.

Question: Why is my female soo aggressive
Answer: She knew he was a punk. LOL JOKING. or am I ???

I agree with Shelley, I let the dogs tell me when its time.
There could be several reasons for your dogs aggression, or you could just have a mean hateful bitch.
Wanna pass that along, ok.

I think the answer to why she was aggressive is obvious. She WASN'T ready. Sad.

Jeff is probably right.
LOL. What a thread.
