We have room, fairly-level parking for campers here too. Water and power available.

I will try to update the club website soon.

Ok, so I know I'm remedial: but if you get a title here, will USA accept that title or will we have to do it again for a USA club?

Titles bestowed by SV judges are accepted with all FCI affiliated organizations, including USA.
Last time I checked BH titles earned under WDA or USA ONLY judges are not acceptable for the breed survey in Germany, although SchH titles are. That's one reason we are bringing in an SV/FCI judge.
Who would want to have to do the BH twice?

...and don't think trial/breed survey organizers don't check to see what judge a 10x SchH3 dog got the BH under 4-5 years earlier. They do. Even though T is on his second scorebook, I have to have his Annentafel with the BH on it with me at every trial.

When I do a BH, I have the judge endorse it in ALL my scorebooks, SV papers, regardless of the affiliation of the host club.

How many people ship a dog over to Germany for a breed survey?  2%?  Even less?  So, yes the B under a USA judge counts for breed surveys in the US at USA  shows/surveys.  Don't know if they count for WDA or not.

Don't know if they count for WDA or not.

No. They do not. Neither do OFA elbow certifications.
Actually, some of us DO take our dogs to Germany for shows, Sieger Shows, trials, breeding. I'd sure hate to get to an event and find out my BH or Breed Survey didn't count!

Shelley,

As I said, if it is USA, it does count for USA shows and surveys.

AUNTIE SHELLEY AND AUNTIE JACKIE WILL YOU PLEASE TELL ME JUST HOW MUCH POTATO SALAD WILL BE AVAILABLE AND JUST HOW MUCH POTATO SALAD A PERSON CAN EAT BEFORE THEY WILL BE THROWN OUT.

Ronnie--you can eat potato salad until you

a) puke (but not on the field, there are bushes next to the driveway you can hide behind.)
b) pop open (again, use the bushes to hide)

OK? Just make sure Dinky doesn't get at any of our bitches, & try to encourage Stinky to take a shower, so the dogs can still follow their tracks for the tracking segment. See you there! jh

We'll be sure to place the lunch tables up-wind from the bushes. I'm thinking I might get the ATV running for the ladies so they don't have to walk up the hill to use the bathroom. I thought about a porta-potti, but I'm think two blinds and a hole in the ground in the bushes with a bag of lime and enviro-friendly TP would work just as well here in the country. LOL

We now have an official photographer for the events.  www.mikebaileyphotography.com

Entry fee for the seminar on Sunday is $50. for dog/handler teams, $25. for spectators. $10. for lunch.
The AD will be Friday early evening, SchH Saturday, but if we have too many BH's, FH's, or somebody cannot fit Sat. into their schedule, we will try to accommodate with non-SchH phases on Friday evening. The fields will be available for at least the week before the trial for practice, by appointment please.
We ask that no one go on the tracking fields unaccompanied by a club member.
Bosen Kinder Hundesport- We aim to please!

I am hoping we can hold a show/Korung later this year, with a show handling/conditioning seminar, maybe another trial the same weekend. The hunt club up the street with the awesome clubhouse would make an excellent venue for a show/seminar. As members, my husband can get it for about $75. day or less, complete with cook and kitchen!

Events page updated.
http://www.bosenkinder.com/NewsEvents.html
I had a few problems with website creation software, so the rest of the site is still shamfully out-of-date, especially the Members page. I'll try to get to it more this week.
