Congratulations to the winners - sounds like to the people who saw them, they are well deserving, and to the bitter, unknowing, we-weren't-there people on the pdb, the cry of "it's-not-fair" and "politics" has begun again.

April, the V4, is a Ronaldo daughter.

How did VA1(SER),V62 BSZS 08 Gittano Semper Wictor do at the Sieger Show? I know he recieved a VA5 but I am into how he did bite wise. I do not wrap myself up all about the VA and V....If the bite is there the title will follow. You can PM, email, or answer here on the board please. I could not attend the Sieger. I had surgery...it sucks!

cograts to all

For DiAngelo

Yes, working part is very important. Gittano has very strong natural instincts and drives including fight drive, so if anything he is more likely to out slower than to fail the test because of courage, stability, temperament or drives. We never used e-collar in his training.  On this show he got rating of 'pronounced' (the best rating out of three possible).
Gittano is very stable in his temperament and handles new environments and new situations very well. In the house he is very calm, but when it's time to go to work he gets in drive fast, once he is finished with work he calms down to normal. This is the type of GSD most of us are looking for.

We are open for all experienced helpers and they can come anytime to visit us and try Gittano on themselves - we guarantee 100% on his amazing natural instincts.

Find more information about him on www.amisa.hr/gittano

Where has Gittano been trialed during the past 12-18 months?  Just curious...

by amir on 28 April 2009 - 09:04

For Mystere:

Visit us and feed your curiosity. We are open for every positive knowledge and experience exchange and we are ready for tricky question, too. We do not bite - only our dogs. But do not be afraid - all of them are under control. Be our guest on our location in MI and share your knowledge with us.
With an eye on Gittano working capabilities I can inform you that our work is supervised under Robert Kranjcec in Europe and under Nino Islamcevic in US. Both of them are WUSV participants. In team we have few more WUSV competitors. Last season before Sieger in Aachen Gittano was trained by Nenad Novak.

That does not answer my question, Amir, and neither would coming to see your facility.  LOTS of people have hired WUSV competitors to train their dogs for them.  Also, not responsive to the question.  It was a very simple question; there was nothing "tricky" about it.

So, as you have not answered the question ("Where has Gittano been trialed during the past 12-18 months?"), I guess I must simply conclude that the answer is that he has not been trialed anywhere in the last 12-18 months.  That's fine.   There is no rule that says you must trial him at all.

Best of Luck in your future endeavors.

I had a great time at your SS, met loads of great people and really enjoyed the event. ( although the thunder storms were abit hairy!!)
I also found the delights of a strawberry margheritta, thanks to my american chaparones ;0)
For anyone interested here is clarissa the siegerin taken while she was being critiqued by judge, I thought she was absolutely beautiful, even when wet and muddy!

Hmf. Looks like my dogs on any given day between October -May, the period of the  "Rain Festival" in the Great Pacific Northwest!    Just put 'em in a crate with shredded paper for 30 minutes and they come out clean!

Frankly, I miss thunderstorms.  They provide such a nice, restful sleep!

lol restful -not for me, never seen lightning like that in my life:) although definitley quite beautiful to watch .. I thought it quite funny that the thunder and lightning was cracking at high decibels just as the gun tests were being done. (mother natures gun test!) The thunder made the gun sound like a tap dripping.
