Sitsamom I do not no any one who got back more then they paid in . Quite the contrary . Whoop whoop the stimulus package . The pennies anyone gets is more then ate up by the price increase in everything else a person needs to live . Have you seen the way prices have sky rocketed latly . Maybe not in the housing yet or oil .I mean things like food toilet paper household items . You can not get out of a grocery store with out going broke and the meter reader is always waiting with the utility increase .  I will be growing a garden and I will be canning . I am not digging no bomb shelter I know where there is an old railroad tunnel that goes way under the ground and its long enuf for a bunch of people . If its worth even trying to survive what could happen if things get real bad . Ya know when I was a kid you could buy a hole farm and house with land and a barn for 5000 dollars . Now 40 years later you have to have a million dollars to buy the same place . WHO SCREWED WHO .

GSLover123, Sita's fine, she passed a wadd of paper towels and chewed up twigs, we were lucky thiis time.

Wazzup - Contrary to popular belief, not everyone got a stimulas check.

you had better thank me or someone just like me for that stimulas check. Not only did we not get one, but we paid extra for you to get yours! these stimulas checks are a way to redistribute wealth - from my pocket to yours.

earned income credit, child credits, and others are ways for people to get back more then they pay.

I don't want to know, but do you know how much you actually paid the federal government through income tax last year?

not how much you overpaid and got back or how much you underpaid and had to write a check for,

how much you was actually paid?

it is truly amazing how many people have  no idea...........

48% pay nothing and 20% actually get more back then they pay in........this sickens me - every one should pay something. this is wealth redistribution - pure and simply socialism.

GSDlover123.
thanks for the well wishes.......Sita is well and now in heat..........thank goodness Hero is clueless......next time it will be more difficult to keep them apart - he will be old enough to understand.

Well sitasmom the 48 percent of the people I talked to payed in quite a bit more then they got back .Kids rebates included . The middle class took a hit and the rich and evil shrews as always get more evil . Thats the way it is and always has been . If you want to keep dancing with this fool dance .  Some folks just can't get unuf of it . I think some folks shall have an audit this year it's time for change . Take a look at Dupont and the paper companies . Have ya any idea how much cheaper it is to make paper out of hemp instead of trees ? Have ya any idea how many less chemicals it takes make hemp paper then tree paper . Do ya have any idea how much faster and easyer it is on old mother earth make the hemp paper . Ask Dupont they own the chemical companies then see if your cornflakes taste so good . Dupont and it's croneys may as well run this country. And Im sure if ugly pokes around he will know who owns Dupont .

Dear Mr Obama,

I don't have the answers to all of the questions folks are raising on this thread... BUT... thanks to the programs you have started in under 4 months as Pres I know that this month for the First time in 4 years I was able to say that my mortgage is 100% caught up, and payments were on time.... for the first time I'm actually starting to gain on the financial hole I've struggled with for so many years.  No, it's not perfect... but for the first time I have space to breathe and to make plans for a better tomorrow.  I also know that the "bail outs" which you proposed and put into action have huge strings of accountablity on them to be sure that the big wigs don't pocket it and run.

Keep your chin up, and keep working to help us.
Thanks

Jill

I never once said I agree with the stimulus package or the polices of Obama or the republicans I did not run for the office .Who on the database thinks they have the cure for our country . Did I see any of your names on the ballet .Not that It would have made a difference . They aint no easy answer . Maybe we should just keep spending our money on other countries problems .Better we spend it killing off the enemy .I love blood money do all of you ?? or is it y'all ? I love fixing their roads and building them bridges, airports and seaports and feeding their hungry kids.  When our own infa  structure falls apart and American kids starve . Yea Its nice the pirates steal aid we send to other countries ,It keeps our army with things to do and our ships afloat . Yup thats a lot better way to keep the economy going in the right direction .  Hell give all the damn money away to other counties . Sell China some more of Manhatten I hear bagdad needs more temples seeings how we bombed the old ones and they are so broke they cant rebuild their own country.

My name doesn't appear on the ballet as my dancing days are over.  Too many knee surgeries and an artificial hip brought an early end to my promising dance career.  I did perform a mean Swan Lake at one time though.  I'm also guessing that you didn't have any family or close friends in New York on Sept 11th.  Maybe you should ask someone who did how they feel about our situation in the Middle East.

Living in the northeast part of Illinois, I am close to the Chrysler plant that is, or was, the largest employer in the area.  Let's ask the over 1000 employees that were laid off how they feel about our native son's genius.

We all lost someone and something on 9/11. Last I checked the bombs did not fall on Bin ladens head . I think he is still playing in the poppy fields with his friends  . I bet he even has some cash stashed for a rainy day .

Obama forced an auto exec out and chose another one in his place..............

He forced banks to take TAR money and will not let them pay it back ............

Wazzup you do not have a clue.........go do some reaearch.....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_tax_in_the_United_States

Some argue that the current income tax system, which is the government's largest revenue source, is too progressive and redistributive.[29] In 2007, the top 5% of income earners paid over half of the federal income tax revenue.[30] The top 1% of income earners paid 25% of the total income tax revenue.[31] Forty percent of Americans pay no federal income tax,[30] which raises moral concerns regarding wealth redistribution and the economics for controlling the size and spending of government.[29]
