Shelley is having fun with her dogs on her vacation.
Today I went tracking with Bijou on a HUGE sod farm in beautiful sunshine. I had never tracked on such short grass/sod before, didn't know what to expect, especially with a breeze that kept shifting directions. Bijout took to it like a duck to water. :-)
I am very proud of my boy this afternoon.
I can hardly wait to go back out and try the rest of my dogs tracking on sod at the same farm tomorrow!
I hate to admit it, but I really miss _______.
[TBA when I think of something I really miss besides cable TV in my bedroom]

They are only showing reruns on TV .. Be strong Shelly. It will get easier give yourself some more time .

Sounds like your vacation is off to a great start! The wind here plays havoc with tracking on a regular basis.
No cable in the bedroom! Blasphemy! What else could you possibly miss? That would be at the top of my list...oh wait...it is at the top of my list. I have one T.V. in the entire house...I know...I live in the stone age.
In your spare time, with your feet up, relaxing and enjoying your time away, sit down with a pad and paper and make two lists: On one of them list all the things you have and are grateful for...on the other list all the things you don't have and are grateful that you don't. You could title the lists...Vacation....Staycation. And as the saying goes...the list goes on and on and on...
Keep your chin up and your eyes on the prize!

I LIKE the list idea. I am very grateful for the blessings I am enjoying, believe me. Haven't had this much fun in a long time. :-D
