Raymond this is my vert last post to you on this subject, Me i am not interested in politics, but i do think a lot on this forum including yourself think you know but do you really know what goes on in the Goevenment they let you think you do its as far as it goes, Good luck to your Boy i hope he keeps well and all those Lads with him,, all i will say about my life is that i spent near on two years of my time in a jungle envrioment trying to stay alive, soul destroying to say the least but i did what i went to do and came back, Other than that i say nothing more about my life for it was just work to me and that way i kept alive and my head in one piece,and i will always remember it as a Job of work nothing else, but it is long past so it is now irrelevent and means nothing, a part of life
I am not going on with this subject or any more regarding Wars or Politices, it causes too much ill feeling on which is basically a Dog site, With them i forget everything and that is the way i like it
Regards the Last War i was born then so i know what went on and i was in London at the time the first bombs fell so did our House and my Aunt with it, Two Uncles died in the War aged 22 and 27 , My Dad came back intact when it was all over

'Moonlighting' in different fields-In Construction, especially Welding, is not unheard of. Some guys learn 3-4 trades at once, even on the fly. They neednt be Exclusive in their requirements. Steel Welding isnt rocket science.
I worked in construction and know it inside and out. (Im also a double Major. With 2 Minors.)

'I am a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and was in one of the first units to occupy Iraq in 2003 (OIF I). I was a Combat Nurse in the 21st Combat Support Hospital (21st CaSH) in Mosul , Iraq . For those who are familiar with the military, my MOS was 91WM6. I saw combat on multiple occasions (earning the Bronze Star) and returned fire with confirmed kills (earning the V device for Valor). I also earned the Combat Medic Badge for providing medical care during combat conditions. I signed my paperwork to enter the military on 9/11/2000 (tell me someone didn’t have a hand in that!) at the age of 30.
Before entering the military, I had had 12 years of experience as a hazardous materials/demolition contractor and consultant. I had also gotten 5 years of experience as a certified structural steel welder. I didn’t join the military to get away from my parents or get money for college. Not that there is anything wrong with those reasons, but I joined to serve my country.
I have fought, bled, and literally killed for my country. I defy anyone to look me in the eye and say that I am in any way unpatriotic. I also challenge anyone to tell me that I don’t have significant experience in construction, demolition, or hazardous materials. All of this leads to why I am convinced that 9/11 was an inside job.'

Yes Maggie those were some good posts from some one who does not have a freakin clue about what is transpiring in this country or why the so called wars of freedom were declared on Iraq and afganistan! so apparantly nether you or steve served in this countries armed forces nor have given one of your children over to serve this country I would suggest you shut your pie hole untill you have sacrificed as much as I or my son has! My son was a marine and will always be a marine!!!! I suffered along with his mother while he was in saudia arabia protecting those rich oil fields ! I suppose the large majority of you smart alecs have a lot to say but have not PAID THE DUES! All of my male family counterparts have served in the military and fougt in it's battles from ww2 untill the two gulf wars! So for some one who is a foriegner and you and others to spout of at the mouth about something you have no idea about I consider it an affront to those who have died in vain for a cause the american politicians have forced upon the fighting men and women of this country! There is no difference between two soldiers who died in an unjust war or an unjust war! They are both DEAD1 One died for an honorable cause and the other for a lie! However one did not have to die!~ What are you loud mouth assholes doing to keep those alive that did not have to die! Remember those Marines who died in that bomb blast in Lebanon??????????????What did america do when the smoke cleared? America ran home to mamma! What do you think those bereaved parents feel like you morons! Oh but you forget about black hawk down ! What didi our glorious president do to protect americas freedom you twits? Again run home to mamma! What about those glorious and honorable deaths proudly avenged by the armed forces of the untied states1 And now we have a brave fighting man held prisoner by those wicked evil muslums! While that piece of shit Obama is preparing the finest hotels in america for those wicked enemy combatants to live in while they are tried for war crimes that brave soldier will be murdered! You really talk a load of rubbish, Do you think only the USA Guys have had it hard you talk as if you are the only ones, I say again i will not tell anyone what i did when serving for 6 years in places a human should never be and you are not the only one to have lost friends in a war I had two mates standing near me taken out by a Sniper, but unlucky for him on his last shot i caught a rough glimpse of where he was, and i got to him after hunting him for hours, But nothing great in that
In London during the 2 world war my Aunt went up with our House when a bomb took it out
, I lost Two Uncles who were fighting the war, but we were not the only ones and nor are you or your son,
You like me and your son chose to Join up well i did, The risks are there but it is a job, nothing glorious in it, I want no accolades for my part some i wish had not happened, but i came out of it with not so good memories and certainly nothing to be boastful about,
I never saved anyones ass except my own with help from my mates who were with me some never came back.
They were the heroes not us that made it home and don't you forget it you patronizing fool, and you can take it which ever way you like it matters not to me, every time someone says something you do not like or do not agree with you lose your Temper and start calling names, and you think you are a Christian Pull the other leg its got Bells on
Now after this very final post you can rattle on till the cows come home you will not get a reply from me

i give way to your superior skills as a Soldier if you think that, for that is what you are really trying to say for you keep harping on it for all to take in,

My brothers told me all about the conspiracy theory. I didn't believe them. I didn't want to. I couldn't imagine folks in the civilized world being so evil. I sure hope I am right.

Yes, your brothers are right, War is ugly in any form, the thread was to honour a Soldier and some turn it into politics for no reason at all, , It is easy to sit at a computer and put letters to print, but the truth is in the Man not in words if you know what i mean
In my time in service not even my family knows to this day what went on except for mates who were there with me
Nothing i am proud of but nothing i regret, but i hope it is easier for most in the present time
From now on i stay away from any threads to do with War or Politics and stay on the Dog side of the forum, the hassle is not worth it

That was a very little part and just one tiny episode of nearly two years working in that environment and that was only after he took out two mates,and i was wrong in pointing it out but on the thread and more wrong in repeating it on this one
i did i guess because of the rubbish i was reading got the better of me, I did nothing more than the two mates he killed would have done for me and to be honest when it was over i never gave it a second thought for that Guy to me a job well done and have no regrets on that at all, or on most of what happened, just a small few things could perhaps changed those i do regret, and sometimes think about
But i guess you would have been a Christian and let it go by and hoped you could keep your head down long enough until he got tired of you

When you served, DID YOU TAKE ORDERS OR NOT from the powers to be above you,
IF YOU DID NOT, then you were not in any armed forces
Now in civiy street you change tact from what you were told to do in the armed forces, That is what is called a hypocrite
and as far as i am concerned you sure are one of those in my book, certainly i would never want you looking after my back in any situation whether in the forces or in ordinary life,
If you went to War with the stuff you have in your head right now you never have come back that is certain, for nothing counts out there but for the minute and i tell you this you are shitting yourself nearly every minute of the day and night, that was the only thing that kept you focused, and any man who says he was not afraid is a bloody liar
I have had enough of your utter rubbish Do the right thing and go into politics and preach to those who think the same way you will not find many supporters i bet
