I don't know about any other protesters or what their agenda may be but here in Ks. they are religious fanatics.  They are an embarrassment to all of America.  They like to say God has punished the families by killing their soldier because America embraces homosexuality.  They are hate mongers of the worst kind.  And they are nut jobs!  Their church is the Westboro Baptist Church based in Topeka, Ks. and they follow the reverend Fred Phelps all over the country to scream obscenities at several functions but they really like to target soldier funerals.  They protest someone who has died to protect their freedom of speech.  They are a scab on the boil on America's a**.  Not all of us Kansans agree or even want to be associated this scum.  I'm ashamed to have to say he is located in my state but proud to say the Patriot Guard started here. My best friend just came home(safely thank God) from a year long deployment to iraq. It was a tearful and happy reunion and was awesome to see the Vetrens welcoming the younger generation of soldiers home.

Can you imagine?  Going to the funeral of a loved one is stressful enough without having to hear and see the shit spewed by these  ignorant crazy ass white trash crackers.

This group travels all over the USA to spread their special brand of hate.  The good news is regardless of politics, whereever this group raises it's ugly head  all decent people  rally together against them.

DebiSue I so like the idea of the Patriot Guard standing between this trash and those gathered to say goodbye to their fallen soldier.  It gave me chills to read about them.  Please tell your brother "thank you".   I think that says so much about what's good and decent in most people.

 What the hell is wrong with this guy? He says he doesn't support the soldiers because they fight for a country that allows gay people and yet he is still living here paying taxes buying things. So isn't he supporting the counrty too?  I say if he doesnt like it then he should go live in iraq. He doesn't deserve to live in a counrty where soldiers take the war away from our homes our door steps so we have a safe place to sleep, so we don't have to worry about IED's and bombs going off. Someone should pack his shit up and drop him off right in the middle of a terriost camp with nothing no weapons no gear to protect him and see what he thinks about our soldiers then. I'm sure he'd be begging them to save his sorry ass.  He says God hates gay people but who is he to say what God "hates". If he were a true believer in God then he would know that God doesn't hate anyone. Big guns upstairs  says "love your neighbor as you would love yourself" not love your neighbor as you would yourself only if he's straight.  It takes all kinds of people to make this world go round (sadly his little group of F**k heads too). If your straight great if your gay thats great to. If they live in America they have the freedom to choose.  Thats what the USA is all about Freedom.

If so, I think this guy is great too.  It just tears my heart in half to think about the poor families having to witness these pigs on of all days, the day they lay their loved one to rest.  On the other hand, I imagine they derive more comfort and pride  from the support of  the Patriot Escort than anything the Phelps could hope to destroy with their fucktard antics.  Special place in hell for Phelps and his followers.

 Sad thing is these people are getting children involved. These kids are standing out there with these signs and don't even know what they're protesting for.

I still have a bunch of firends fighting and I know there's people on this board that have friend and Family there too.
All i know is if (God forbid) one of my friends gets killed over in iraq and these pricks show up Someones gonna be bailing my ass out of jail cause I would be on these M F'ers like a banshee out of hell. Not a single one of them would be left standing. I'm not a tiny woman (not fat just thick) and it'd take alot to stop me once I got going. I can't say it'd be the right thing to do (probably the wrong thing) but it would damn sure make me feel better.
