That's the one I was talking about.  I don't know how the "riders" manage to keep their cool.  I guess mostly because so many of them fall back on their military backgrounds and the training they have had.  Me...I've been lucky enough not to run across these low lifes or no doubt I'll be looking for bail money.

The only children involved are their own.  It's like a cult of some kind.  They all should be loaded up and carted off someplace where they can find out just how lucky they have it here where the very soldiers they curse are the ones protecting their right to spew such filth.  There are several "intertaining" clips about them on youtube. 

To those of you not offended by gays, you should click on Michael Moore vs Westboro Baptist Church.  You will laugh your butts off at what he does to this preacher not once but twice.  However, if anything remotely related to gays offends you...you might want to skip this one.  I have no problem with the gay community.  Instead I find the likes of Phelps offensive...he's right up there with people who abuse animals.  Pond scum.

You are entitled to your opinion as is everyone else.  This thread is about honoring our troops and their families and some of the crap they have to put up with while serving their country.  Yes the gay community has its share of whackos, just like the straight community.  If you are offended by the gays then don't go to their festivals.  But if you want to spew hatred or pick a fight, start your own thread.  Take it elsewhere.

I spent all of last evening at the veteran's reunion yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed myself.  Live bands, fireworks and lots of service men & women, vets of all wars represented well.  It was a great chance to say "Thank you" in person.  My brother and his wife led the Patriot Guard, hundreds of motorcyles on parade through town and out to the reunion.  Saturday's opening ritual was performed by a Native American who did several different chants.  The evening was interesting, 80 degree weather, slight breeze and we had a great time people watching.  Some were more interesting than others but despite all the different cultures, wars and people in general, it was peaceful and you left feeling proud to be an American.  I wish I had remembered my camera. (sigh)
