It WOULD have been fun getting together on the road!
I won't be going TOO far right away. Seems I forgeot to apply for an expense account.
What little income I expected this month was mailed and delivered to my husband's house in the Holler earlier this week despite my careful instructions to the payer. I think it may be a long time before I see that money...  Sure wish I wasn't all out of dead relatives.
Anyone interested in contributing to the Auntie Shelley Vacation Fund feel free to e-mail or call me. LOL
It may take me a year to pay it back, maybe more? but I WILL.
Daddy wouldn't have had it any other way. I sure wish he was alive now. ;-D

I also have a nice finished loft above my garage with rather comfy couches and a twin matress if you'd like to crash overnight. :)

Sounds like a plan for Monday night if I can get this rig loaded, gassed up, and headed south, which is the plan. I am not in any hurry to get anywhere. Doo-dah. Doo-Dah.
As long as the roads are good, the van runs fair-ta-middlin', the trailer rolls, so do we! I promise to call before "droppin in." Ha ha ha.

I am going on a quest for a stack of carpet samples for the dog trailer tomorrow. The darned thing doesn't even have springs/shocks. Call it Teddy Roosevelt, Rough-Riding SOB. I don't know why any dogs would get in it twice. Half-dozen carpet samples adds some padding, keeps them from slipping on the slick floor and slammin into the walls if someone does something stupid in front of/near me on the highway. Rubber mats are nice, as are wood grates, but I don't have any of those and carpet samples are cheap  & disposible IF I can find them.

I found out why the van was running a little hot.
Hello NO coolant. Sure glad I had a comprehensive service done right before I left PA.
Duhhhh... Fergit sumptin' boys? Can't believe I didn't check it myself sooner. I know better. Wonder it didn't burn the heck up pulling the trailer 1,000 miles.

:-D

You are a cruel woman sometimes Stephi-girl. LOL
I hear Montana is beautiful in the fall. Cool breezes make horses frisky.
People too!
