Yes, it did not help them though, but it sent them off Happy

What a scam  Shelley is making a mockery of all the women out there who are really abused. If she had any integrity she would donate that money to a homeless shelter and see what it's really like to have nothing.

Sam Spade,

When you are walking down the street and accosted by a wino panhandler - you don't ask for ID and documentation as to the legitimacy of their plight, do you? No. You just reach in your pocket and give the bum some change - or you don't, and you keep on walking.

Well, Shelley is that wino panhandler, she is that bum. You can either give her some pocket change, or go about your merry way. But even society's leeches are afforded a modicum of privacy, so too does Shelley deserve hers.

You assert  that her latest melodrama has no place on a German Shepherd message board. You don't argue location with the beggars and scammers you encounter do you? Of course not.

Dear God man, have you no compassion? Shelly doesn't have a stretch of sidewalk. This website is where she spins her tale of woe.

It's clear you don't want to be a mark. Well, be gone then! There are plenty of marks here without the likes of you.

Frankly, I wonder if Shelley would find the comparison of herself to a "wino" or "panhandler" at all complimentary.  That was uncalled for, to both Shelley and to Spade.

Nia, it was not a comparison at all.

by beetree on 20 August 2009 - 21:08

Not a comparison, but her reality, cute.

Well, she is in the process of changing that, and it helps if people let her go through the steps that make it happen.

~Oldlineschutzhund, I remember you from an earlier post, and you do not project yourself as a friend.

To those who seem to think Shelley is maybe scamming these people here, in particular some of the last posts here, you are entitled to think what you want (oldlineschutzhund).

Simply put, it is uncalled for to make such remarks, especially if you don't know Shelley, or have never been where she is now.  All I can say is, I hope, should any of you ever find yourself in a position with nothing, that people are more kind to you than you are to Shelley.

Or are you actually Shelley's soon to be Ex?  Of course, if you were, you wouldn't say so, would you?

If you are not, and you really think Shelley's just an alcoholic that wants other people's money to live on, then why don't you just ignore these threads and refrain from posting?  Too many people here know Shelley personally, and know what she's gone through in her life, what she's going through now.  She's no saint, neither am I.  I imagine that you are not, either.  Just leave her alone.  She's trying, she's working to change her life.  And it takes help to support a person who's trying to change their life. I agree with BeeTree above...

And Triumph...You are just rude, plain and simple.  Shelley has nothing, except for a couple of dogs, an ancient van, and a dog trailer on its last legs.   What would you have her do?
