May I also add here that Steph has some extrememly nice rescued dogs available right now, a couple from excellent working lines I am told, and already well started in training! How dogs like these end up in rescue just leaves me dumb-founded.

In the East, Molly has several very nice rescued dogs too. One truly gorgeous, long-coated, deep black and red German show line male, call name Bubba, is the sweetest dog anyone could ever want. He has the most expressive face... just begging for a family to raise. He is only 4 years old.
...and that's just ONE wonderful dog waiting for a forever home.

Thanks to you guys, MY dogs are not in the same boat the ones above are.
Right now, I consider all 6 of us "rescues" adopted by this board.

Thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts,

SS

I am busily re-programming my Ruby Slippers.
For Northeastern Fall Foliage, read: Riverbank Wine and Cheese Expo.

ROTFLMAO!!  You've got it rough Shelley. I need another kidney. Anyone want to help me?

Thanks for the laugh. I'll see if I can come up with some new tires for your van. What size do you need?

Oops. The Riverbank Festival USED to be FREE, last time I was there, 10 yrs. ago. They even let you keep your wine glass.
Now they charge admission???
Awwww... Phooey.
At least we can still swim dogs in the canals for nothing. Kinda like a couple hours at the beach, only way different. (no beach)

Good ol' Riverbank...

We use to hit the wine and cheese festival after we went to Hershey's in Oakdale. Then the next day we would haul the dogs and kids up to Calaveras Big Trees and let them play in the cool creeks.

Give anything to be back there now.

Let me know when you arrive Shelley, maybe I'll follow out soon thereafter!

Looks like Muck sandals don't work the same way Ruby Slippers do.
