Thank you and Taunya for all you have done. Writing an article for Schutzhund USA is a wonderful idea. Bright sunlight makes the mold go away. It will be good to shine light on this.

My weeping heart goes out to dear old Amanda Canyon aged 9 yrs and Adrie vom Bibelenfeld aged 8 yrs who are now both humanely put to sleep. Although it was late to save them, it was still a stroke of luck that RescueK9 discovered them. These dogs have soul. May they RIP.
I am very sorry Bob that you have to hear about these dogs in this way. It must be shock horror to many owners of their offsprings and also the people who know these dogs personally to discover the tragic conditions these dogs had to suffer. Bless.

Taunya, thank you as well. I can't say enough good things about these folks. They do truly care about their dogs.
Bob, my condolences. I feel your pain.
An article in the USA mag would be great. Perhaps WDA, AWDF and other groups would run one as well.
Perhaps USA or AWDF would offer a special Adrie and Amanda "In Memoriam" trophy to be given to the breeder most actively promotes rescue, responsible ownership, etc. Award to be chosen by the membership. Just a thought, but I'd sponsor it for sure.
It is very sad, I work with two rescue groups. The very nice well bred dogs that come through are amazing. WHY in God's name is a TITLED, SURVEYED dog in RESCUE? WHY are SO MANY dogs that are obviuosly out of working and German show lines in rescue, on craigslist or in pounds? Of all the dogs I get called about, I have had ONE breeder step up and take the dog back. AGAIN, a huge thank you to that breeder. Breeders please think about this. These are your dogs and pups off your dogs.
Off my rant now.

mking, how many dogs have you driven, who knows how far for and saved? Sheesh. Just say thanks and leave it at that.
Thanks Tim, for what you have done for these dogs.
