Crys said: Despite the "safety" and "effectiveness" of the billions of dollars' worth of vaccines sold every year, thousands still die from diseases, side effects of the vaccines, and other causes. Flu can kill, so can the common cold, but only in a small number of cases where people already have compromised immune systems. (emphasis added)

Having stated that I personally do not intend taking the swine flu vaccination for the very reasons that you stated - the fact that the vaccine has been tested on humans to a very  limited degree - I think the above statement is misleading with regard to seasonal flu vaccination. According to the CDC:

"Every year in the United States, on average:

* 5% to 20% of the population gets the flu;
* more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu-related complications; and
* about 36,000 people die from flu-related causes.

Some people, such as older people, young children, pregnant women and people with certain health conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease), are at increased risk for serious complications from seasonal flu illness."

www.cdc.gov/flu/keyfacts.htm

One needs to balance the potential benefits with the risks of taking the seasonal flu vaccination. There is convincing evidence that the risks of not taking the seasonal vaccination far exceeds the limited risk of side-effects of not taking it. Here is pertinent information relating to the side-effects of the seasonal flu vaccine:

"Side effects are uncommon and usually mild, including soreness or redness at the injection site, aches, and mild fever. A small number of people do have a more serious allergic reaction to the shot. And research suggests that roughly 1 out of every 1 million people vaccinated might develop Guillain-Barre syndrome, a neurological disorder. But the shot's protection against illness, hospitalization, and death far outweighs the risk."

Crys, where I do agree with you is that as a general rule it is best to avoid taking any medications because one never knows what side-effects lurk down the line. The exception is where one suffers from certain high-risk conditions eg hypertension or diabetes which cannot be alleviated by changes in diet and life-style.

As always it is a question of balancing the risks with the potential benefits.

B.E.   Are you feeling OK?   I'm curious -- why do you post pictures, music, whatever, that has no relation to the topic?

How stupid can the gov't and vaccine manufacturers get? Probably not very if they are pushing a eugenics program that will kill off plenty of folks, dumb many kids down for life, and create mass chronic auto-immune related chronic diseases such as lupus, arthritis, etc., which will increase drugs sales far into the future, while simultaneously generating BILLIONS of dollars of profit. Not too stupid I guess.

Yes, Stay off vaccines if you can, My take on most of them they make a vaccine then find a problem to use it a lot of things are put there by man for that very reason of selling a vaccine to make the companies that much richer
Under no circumtances willi ever be jabbed for a flu related problem or much else if i can avoid it and i am an oldster

The shot contains the killed virus unlike the nasal spray. The eugenics program idea is just plain old wacky.

Schwarzenegger Signs Executive Order; Delcares State of Emergency
(AP)

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed an executive order allowing California agencies to bypass state contracting rules when responding to swine flu.The Republican governor says agencies will need to cut through red tape to fight the spread of the 2009 H1N1 strain.
Schwarzenegger says California received its first shipment of the vaccine from the federal government on Monday. The initial doses are targeted for children.
California public health officials say 2,510 people have been hospitalized and 188 people have died statewide this year after contracting swine flu.'

Right in time for the collapsing Dollar and economy.
Swine H1N1 is a Bio Weapon, developed by Israelis to infect the populace, kill off the old, sick, weak and sterilize the young.
Microchips 1/64 the size of a hair follicle are present in some or a bracelet will be implemented..Take at your own risk.

I have become just a "lurker" for obvious reasons however I thought  would put my two cents in reguarding this "swine flu" deal...

I am completely with those that are refusing to be vaccinated against this, I believe what has been posted by Preston and Yellow Rose and have done many hours of research and digging on the vaccine and the virus itself... I have a very good friend in the Air Force, He informed me that the Military is making the vaccine mandatory for them however he would defend to his death against his family recieving it. This says a lot to me, so add me to the list of  "Vaccine nut jobs"  because I am almost positive that we "nut jobs" are going to have the last laugh...

You won't have to worry about them giving it to your children, they only have a small supply and the healthcare workers get first dibs. It is not mandatory at all.

Today it's not mandatory for you and I, but it IS Mandatory for the Military...
