Had the priviledge to sit down with one of the owners of Larus, in Hochstadt, last week and they told me they will NEVER sell Larus and that he will live out his live with them, at their home(he is only 5 years old now). The "Mrs." calls Larus, "Schatzi(treasure", and also says, Larus will never be sold. Such an impressive animal! Stephen

Well, Stephen, it's so nice to know that for some the dog is priceless! Good for them.

Thats good to hear larus will stay with them..I hate it when dogs get sold just because they are too old, the dogs put in years of work and loyalty then when they can't win big anymore off they go...

I bred a female with Larus on 10 Oct 05 and they missed. No puppies. I called Germany this morning to advise that the pregnancy did not take and to reschedule for March or April, and guess what. BSZS VA1 Larus Von Batu has been sold to someone in China. So much for their saying they would never sell Larus at ANY price. I am out of altitude, airspeed and ideas all at the same time(not a good thing if you are auto-rotating in a helicopter) As they say in the Army-"Money talks and bulls*@# walks". A LLOOTTTTT of money in this case.

So much for his retirement. He will no probably be VA1 in China for the forseeable future.

I post a message about 1 week ago, said Larus sold to China Jiangsu Mr.Cheung Chi Man ask for 2500 euro for stud, but my message deleted .Why?

by SGBH on 13 December 2005 - 16:12

Unbelievable. That's 1500 euro more than what I had to pay for stud services. This money thing is definately out of control. Just had another conversation with Germany. Larus is definatly IN China and will participate in their upcoming Sieger show.

Sounds more like a business than a labor of love, doesn't it? All in all it's just one more brick in the wall.

The market is totally out of contral.I can bet the next seiger is Nicos vom Leithawald or the dog from Mr,Tung Wan Bing.Must not Larus.
