Have you gotten 2nd or 3rd opinions at different vets? How much is the surgery?

Please provide references from your bank and perhaps your Vet.

You seem to have more than a few problems, I would want to know you are legitimate before saying or doing anything more at this point.

Don't take it personal, but if your going to come here soliciting money you should be prepared for such inquiries already.

I would love to help, references first.

Above is a link to this condition. As you see, there are many options, including surgery which may or may not be the right option. A visit to a vet eye specialist is in order to make decisions, get options and costs. Then posting a link to that vet clinic would likely be the best idea. People then know where their money is going.

Good luck.

WE HAVE CALLED 3 VETS AND THEY ALL HAVE SAID THE SAME THING.   THEY ALSO SAY THAT EVEN AFTER THE SURGERY WE WOULD HAVE TO KEEP DOING DROPS,

WE ARE PRAYING TO FIND SOMEONE WHO HAS THE MONEY AND TIME TO TAKE AND CARE FOR NALA.
SHE  WAS A ANGEL FOR OUR SON, NOW WE NEED A ANGEL FOR HER.. =)

THE SUERGERY IS AROUND A THOUSAND A EYE. IT'S SO DEPRESSING, I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT NALA.

I don't know that I would trust Banfield, I'd suggest getting another opinion.  I know you're saying funds are limited, but another vet may very well give you, not only another diagnosis, but a more affordable treatment.  I'm not bashing Banfield and have had no personal experience with them but don't they make you pay for a "care plan" that covers nothing but basics?  In my reckoning, they're going to get more money out of you one way or another.  See if you can get a referral to another, private vet.  They don't normally charge as much and you can explain your circumstances.  I may be willing to chip in to help defray your costs and others may also.  It looks like she has a special relationship with your little boy and I'm hoping it works out so you can keep them together.  You may also want to call a veterinary college near you, what state are you in?  Very sad.

I don't think she's asking for donations, although I'm sure some would be willing.  I think she's asking that someone who has the means, actually adopt the dog to better provide care.

Do you not want to keep the dog and Cody together??? Are there other reasons other than the money to get rid of her???
