Mystere, Sue, Hodie, Vom.....I agree with you!
Bazza...I knew there was no truth in the posts regarding you.....no way.
I personally enjoy your posts, and I agree many times with your thoughts, and even on the rare occasion, when I don't....I stand by your "persona".

One thing I have noticed about bazza is that he is quick to call out the "fakers"

Rik!.....missed you! Where have you been?! Hope you have been well.

Some points I wish to make and then I am finished with this idiotic thread:

1. Hamza is one whose posts I have read. He is from a country where GSDs are not prevalent. It is clear he is young, and it has been abundantly clear over and over and over that he does not know what he is talking about on any issue related to the GSD. He, like several others here, says he came to learn, but he is disingenuous in that claim, and that is putting it mildly. Instead, he has, as bazza has already pointed out, done things and posted here to irritate and anger a whole host of posters, including many who were always trying to help him. But he did not want to learn. Eventually, even the most gracious of persons trying to help people like him gets tired of trying when it appears to be wasted effort. Fortunately, I stayed out of it because I read between the lines and realized long ago what was going on with Hamza. Finally, some of those trying to help him got sick of his bullshit and took to telling it like it is. I don't, for one second, consider that bullying. Neither is it bullying to challenge a post full of outright lies or exaggerations or incorrect factual material.

2. Most of us, if one thinks of it, were "bullied", one way or another as children. I endured some of the worst "bullying" in the form of actual child abuse. So did others here. Yet we got through life, and in fact, sometimes having adverse circumstances actually taught us how to better deal with life's vicissitudes.  Life is not easy for anyone, but it is pretty damn easy for most of us sitting here posting, compared to the millions of people all over this planet who barely eke out enough. The mentality of this country (US) is such anymore that anything negative that happens is always someone else's fault. Bullshit. Sometimes it is, but many times it is our own fault. We all make mistakes and when we do, the right thing is to accept responsibility for those mistakes and try to rectify them and learn from them.

3. Those here who post stupid threads, such as the post about calling the FBI because someone challenged lies, or the original bully post are a small handful of people like Hamza in that they come here saying they want to learn and do nothing but run their mouth off and lie and exaggerate and try to make the rest of the forum think they are great advocates/experts on the breed. Incorrect factual posts are all too often seen here and some of them are downright dangerous.

Everyone has an opinion and an experience, but sometimes others don't share that opinion. That is fine. Some discussions become heated and as long as people can maintain some sense of decorum, that too is fine. But there is the kind of person who comes in to join in who knows absolutely nothing about the subject but wants to simply slam people. None of this "verbal fighting" is bullying. ONE ALWAYS HAS THE OPTION OF NOT POSTING, AND/OR NOT READING A GIVEN POST IF ONE FEELS SOME HEAT. There are some here who don't like others! So what? The people they don't like probably don't like them either. So what?

4. Finally, we have seen incidents like this one here accusing bazza of being someone else before. Someone who does not know what they are talking about posts something alleging that someone here is someone else who has done something terrible. This happens and, in certain cases, these people post under a variety of screen names (disingenuous behavior in my opinion) when they do this.  To accuse someone of doing something as the original poster on the other side of the forum did as concerned bazza and have a handful of people here who know little about him take the ball and run with it is ridiculous. It is also irresponsible, to say the least. It is true that no one can know for certain that someone on the forum is not someone quite other than they think they are, but in general

Glad to see you here Bazza, and that it wasn't you.  No  one likes to be falsely accused.  I'm sorry  for my part in this.

As for Hamza, he was only 13, and I do think you were too hard on him, my thoughts there haven't changed.

I'm off to enjoy the  sunshine!  Adios!

by hodie on 10 April 2010 - 14:04

 RS,

I respect you for your ability to say you were sorry. I am sure others here will as well.

As for Hamza, again, perhaps you don't know the entire story as it has gone on now for some time. And I am not so sure he hasn't lied about his age. Bazza was one, along with many others on the other side of the forum who often tried to help Hamza. Eventually, patience wanes. I am sure you can understand that.

Enjoy your day and the sun!

I was never bullied as a child, ever. That shit doesn't happen in my neck of the woods, if it did, the parents of the bullies would get an ass whoopin. That I have seen.

The first time I was ever bullied was on the internet. Like I care. LOL

I disagree with Hodie, America isn't like this as a general principled population .. although I know you wish us contempt and will run with it. Phhhstt !!

Have a good one.

Yes BE, you and I see the country very differently. But you are ill-informed at the least and disingenuous, at the worst, to think I am any of the things you have accused me of thinking or feeling about my homeland. I don't owe you an explanation however, and I don't want this thread to get hijacked. It is about people assuming someone did something they did not, and you know that too.

BE,

You and a few others here are a joke.

Your words: " That shit doesn't happen in my neck of the woods, if it did, the parents of the bullies would get an ass whoopin. That I have seen."

So which is it? It never happens their or I have seen it. Which one of those statements is a lie and which one is the truth or do you even know? They are contradictions. I think bullying goes on in most places. I will dig around and see how many bullying cases I can find in the news in PA.

How can you of seen it if it never happens?
