Hello,Hans, or Dragon

I wonder if you can tell me the correct ratio of this female as per Czech,or what exact type lines she is from?
Would she be Czech/DDR,or what?

Thanks in Advance,
Jerry

Uma is 98% Czech then she goes back to my old breedings of Quator Aus Wattenscheid and Hasso vom Lahnblick

duke, you know where I stand on genetic diversity.  "Genetic diversity" is the very antithesis of consistency, uniformity and predictability that linebreeding can offer.

If anything, this overall breed suffers from outbreeding depression, and that's why minimal outside influences on czech bloodlines would be desireable, except with necessary cause and with use of less influence from fewer outside producers.  Then, go back to the czech lines.  But if for example, czech dogs were producing alot of bad hips, you'd better be bringing something in to fix that, because linebreeding on problems only produces MORE problems, and the longer it's prolonged the more prolific the problem becomes and less point there is in fixing it.

So, as we both know, it's not a matter of when or if outcrossing is done, but how or with who is the outcrossing conducted?  You are clearly passionate about retaining the czech character and type, so I'm asking again, what lines or producers would you choose?

Cir z Vrtovske doliny is a dog I also like to see in a Czech pedigree. I have heard firsthand that he was a super dog  able to produce good nerve and excellent hardness. actually, I have heard he was one of the best dogs in Czech Republic of his time. Should be interesting breeding, Hans. You don't often here people talk about this dog.

daryll , when you say , czech dogs  were producing alot of bad hips , you are generalizing , some lines do , some dont , same as in westdogs , Im breeding with several lines from czech , and my hipproduction is better than most westlines , so like everything it is about doing your homework
I had one line producing worst , and just gave  up on that one

one line I use is said to produce medioker hips , but I dont have  that experience , so far

as far as bringing something else in , I still dont think that was needed , as there was variety enough , but if you look at a very good example of how good  breeding is done you can look at some orry breedings

grimm to an outside line , and the offspring bred back to grimm offspring

thats different then breeding whatever czech bitch bred to ellute mohnwiese , and the offspring bred to javir , or whatever

other name/dog available

I wasn't generalizing about czech hips, I was theorizing when beginning with words... "But if for example, ... "   Fairly true anyways, but I would lump the whole breed into that generalization, since we're basically at full saturation with that particular problem in all lines.

"grimm to an outside line , and the offspring bred back to grimm offspring"

And that's precisely what I'm talking about doing, "Then, go back to the czech lines."

Orry was one that you mentioned, and I didn't say anyone else was or wasn't doing that.  I simply mentioned the breeding strategy that should be persued.  Must be your french, because you're endlessly trying to butt heads about shit I totally agree with you on.

EhretK9 plans to do it:  The inclusion of Pike was another decent west german outcross, and through a daughter of Orry, plans are in place to cross with Faro Policia bloodlines.

I have no idea what you're like in person, but your writing always seems like you've 'got a chip on your shoulder'.

daryll , its always nice to hear what is going to be done , but I like to see what was done already

Im not going to , but I already did , thats the difference

my  "problem"daryll is that im straight forward , tell it like it is , dont sugarcoat and sweettalk

I know by experience that that is not apealing to everyone , but thats just the way I am

I dont look  for  the easy judges , dont buy titles , and dont understand people who do

if that doesnot make me extra  friends , so be  it
