MainlyMax, perhaps so. Us Irish are brought up in a culture which is strongly rooted in religious beliefs. Sinead does talk about wanting to seperate God from religion, and I think the lyrics of her songs in the album 'Theology' are very provocative and thoughtful indeed, even if I don't fully understand.
On a different note, her song 'This is to Mother You' makes me cry every time.

Red Sable you hit the nail on the head! Jesus died and took our punishment for our transgressions! whosoever calls upon him will be saved but since God chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise making the gospel appear as foolishness to man! 1 And most of man kind hates God and jesus not a lot of people will accept his atoning sacrifice! That is why God is so terribly angry with them because he has made a way out for unrepentant sinners! but they spit in his face ! The true meaning of life Is Jesus Christ! Everything else is wood hay and stubble! all will be burned and only what is done for christ will last! And Satan has blinded mans eyes with unbelief! You can only please God through faith and you must believe he is in order to be saved ! Then he will open a sinners understanding so they can recieve Jesus, gift!

Two moons,
I would like to explain something to you - before God created heaven and earth - darkness existed side by side with the light,
But the light always kills the darkness - just like when you turn a light in your room "their is light" when you turn light off "their is darkness in your room". When ever light travels dark vanish (disappear) from that area at the time when light appears.
You see God is light (Example like a bulb, when that thing lights up darkness vanish from that area) and since God is light - the darkness cannot enter (pierce) inside God.
So in order for the darkness to challenge (fight) the light, it needed a host (spiritual body) and their was a time that came when a darkness did find a (host) to make a challenge to a light.
You see Angel's in heaven they carry God's light but they are NOT the light, they only reflect God's light (just like a physical human mirror reflects the sunlight)
Ezekiel Chapter 28.
28:14 You were the anointed cherub who covers: and I set you, so that you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. 28:16 By the abundance of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 28:17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground; I have laid you before kings, that they may see you. 28:18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of you; it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you. 28:19 All those who know you among the peoples shall be astonished at you: you have become a terror, and you shall nevermore have any being.
So the darkness found a way how to enter (pierce) insight the Angel Cherubim - and the darkness used him to battle God.
So God called this Angel Cherub (Dragon - Satan / Devil) after he sinned.
Revelation, chapter 12
There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. The dragon and his angels made war. 12:8 They didn’t prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven. 12:9 The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
After this Cherub was sinned he was able to convince 1/3 of the Angels to join his side and battle God.
Revelation, chapter 12
His tail drew one third of the stars of the sky. (Stars means Angels)
As you can see darkness used Angel Cherub as a host to battle the light and the results from it - the darkness lost the war.
Their will be a time that is coming when God will put everything to the end (Including the darkness that used Cherub as a host to battle the light) Meaning existence of the dark will be burn together with Satan/Devil in the Lake of Fire.
Revelation, chapter 20, verse 14.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire (This is the second death)
Revelation, chapter 20, verse 15.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
This verse refers to humans.

God gave an option to follow the light or darkness - human free will.
It's like if I was getting married, I want my woman to love me by free will and NOT by force.
Humans do have weakness and strong points, but Devil uses his forces to strike the weakness of the human in order to win / takeover a human soul and let darkness get enter (pierce) human mind and body - since now darkness and devil work together.
As of my death experience goes, I was simply warned be God. (Meaning I have to be spiritually ready anytime if death comes - so my spirit would be at peace and holy with God)
- I already new Bible and Bible scriptures - I was simply not following correctly, their was no efforts on my side.
So the death experience keeps me focus that when the real time comes for me to die I will be ready with a help of God.

I know and understand what your talking about, I was taught the bible from a very early age.
You want to keep quoting scripture instead of expressing your personal views.
We see the universe differently, we know the spirit differently, we live differently.
