Did you see the ad where the lady who says she has Ilay now is having to place all the dogs because of a divorce situation? Can't recall where I saw it but it was within the past few days.

If this is correct, it might leave an opening to have Ilay returned to his rightful owner.

Hey Wise Guy,
can you direct me to that ad ?
I am very curious, furthermore, if Ilay should change hands at this point, it becomes even more complicated.

The woman is selling dogs and puppies, possibly on the PDB saying it is divorce-related. When I went to her kennel website, Ilay was on it as one of her males.

Let me see if I can find the original ad again and I will get back to you.

I believe this is the ad Wise Guy refers to:
www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/classifieds/111505.html

(sorry, for some reason, today the 'dashboard' didn't come up that gives me the option of making the above URL an active link...)
(Edited to make URL a link when the 'dashboard' thing came back up in a different browser)

BUT--although there is a photo of Ilay on there, the link in this ad doesn't lead to the website for the person last alleged to have possesion of Ilay, Mary Gattone.

Rather, it leads to the web page for Andersee GSDs, and if you click on Ilay's name there, it takes you to another page where it clearly states that Ilay does not belong to, and is not at, Andersee, and that the reason he is shown on their site is because Andersee used him for twice for breeding.

It further states that Ilay was bred by two parties, owned by a third party, and is *in residence* with Mary Gattone. So I doubt this is going to be of any use in getting Ilay back to the original poster here.

Thanks for clearing that up! Apparently my memory is worse than I think... I was so hoping it might be able to get Ilay home that I jumped the gun!
