Yes Keith I know that, You would be AMAZED how many clubs have associate members not listed on the full membership roster.  This ride on the merry-go-round may all be for not if the amendment is voted down in a month. If not Join the WDA if you haven't already no body would stop me from training my dogs but maybe I,m more committed to the dog then the political process. I guess thats what being a amateur means.

"If not Join the WDA if you haven't already..."

Like most, Bob, I was a member of both.

"...but maybe I,m more committed to the dog..."

One might assume that if that were true, you would not be so cavalier about losing the very people from your organization from whom you could learn the most.  Then again, if you already know everything, learning isn't an issue and with the experienced people gone, those with a few years under their belts can pretend to be the experts.

How were you shit on Keith?    I have been a member for 19 years and have been happy with USA.  I have donated time and worked at National and World Championship  events. I have donated money to World teams to help send the big boys around the World to compete and represent the USA.  I have met some awesome people and have even managed to title a dog or three.  I have supported the organiztion for almost two decades and look forward to supporting USA for another 20 years.

I wasn't speaking of myself but those with a lot more time in the org than myself (or you) who were forced to choose between the UScA and the WDA.  If you weren't a memebr of the latter, I can understand how it might not matter to you.

Keith:

My friend, your laughable. You talk like any one with any talent at all walked away from USA... When in all actuality a small percentage of people have left. USCA still has more talented people then any Organization in the US and I would put them up against any others outside also...   I call into question no ones ability or worth everyone has a talent or skill to teach and share from the newbie to the multi world team competitor.

Bob, are you saying you are "more committed to the dog" than anyone else here?  That the rest of us don't spend as much time and effort and bring as much to the dog world as you do?  You kinda sound like a mouthpiece for Lyle, how are the showers,,,,nice and warm?

Why is it that when other people bring up rebuttal points you just shrug them off like you never saw them?

by Bob McKown on 07 October 2010 - 18:10

If you had a valid point Phil it would be easy to answer but you just keep swilling the same old wash.

And yes Phil, If the political land scape changes change the way you train your dogs or teach your students you should not be offering either. NOTHING anyone does can change the way you should train or deal with people...

by Love My Canine on 07 October 2010 - 18:10

So Bob, are you ok with the people at your club with mals, dutchies, and rotts being second class citizens?  I'm sure these people pay their club dues just like you.

by Bob McKown on 07 October 2010 - 18:10

Where are you guys coming from are you from planet earth? I don,t care what kinda dog you train I prefer GSD ???????????

by Love My Canine on 07 October 2010 - 18:10

Yes but you are completly missing the point. If you don't care what breed someone trains then why should they be excluded.
