Do the VA dogs participate in shows leading up to the Sieger show?
I was wondering how the experienced breeders know who the favorite dogs are for the sieger title.Are they just pushing their own breeding line as favorites, or have they talked to the judges, or is it the progeny that have shown well?
A final question is where would you find the results of these German dog shows, and what do you do if you don't understand German and just know English?

The dogs compete in Landesgrupen (regional) shows as well as club shows throughout the show season. If you subscribe to the SDonline at the SV website you can pick up results from the weekend on Monday. The results are in German, but not hard to understand the rating and the dog's name.
