now Bee, settle down. don't get yourself blocked...... we all enjoyed the egg nogg...I thought it was kinda a cheap shot to delete it as you were obviously trying to lighten up things......But its still up to the moderator to decide whats gonna stay or what goes...

Agree 100% Pharaoh

Quoting Oli, goes both ways, he also has no problem with lightening the mood. Thank you Nona, for noticing.

CYHMN, why would I care what Two Moons posted to you in an email about what kind of change he thought would happen? He thinks a lot of different things all the time! What he thinks is really not an indicator for me of what direction this site is headed. I think mods have a place, namely to make sure the conversation is not stifled or antagonistic, really and clearly one that reduces Oli's liability. Guess being sued gets tiresome. That I think leaves more leeway and freedom of interpretation, but enough authority to get rid of the real problems... not obliterating posts of people just enjoying the site.

He has made it perfectly clear where he stands. Thanks for your concern.

It remains to be seen, but I think the changes will eventually result in more participation.

I would like to see it to the point that GSD people can discuss whatever their interest is without the rude remarks so often prevalent.

We can all learn. I was a die hard Am. s/l person. Did not even know sl/wl existed in German dogs. I have learned much here. Everyone should have that opportunity. And everyone with experience should feel comfortable contributing from their experience. Whatever it may be.

JMO,
Rik

p.s. the above wishes do not extend to those who present the A.S.S. as a GSD.

CYHMN,

RFS had actually submitted another post just recently right before I deleted the contents of my post in regards what was posted......So NO, I did not wait that long to comment on a post that was deleted long ago....If I had,  Surely you would have read it in the moderator's post made directly after mine, warning me about trying to brew up trouble......I am trying to stay on the straight and narrow path of avoiding banishment....

by CanYouHearMeNow on 01 December 2010 - 01:12

Sorry Nona I must have missed it. Will edit my other post.

The mods post did not make me think it was about a newer post that RFS made.
I also did not get the mod warning you not to brew up trouble.

Did I miss something else? Or just not reading into it right?

Again sorry I jumped the gun with other statement
