The show is supposed to be 4/30-5/1 at the Las Colinas Equestrian Center in Irving, TX. The website has not been updated regarding venue, judges, headquarters hotel, etc. Does anyone have a clue about who is judging? Johannes for any classes? The headquarters hotel is likely to cost ~$100/night. However, lodging and vehicle rentals in the DFW area are cheap. I got a quote yesterday on Priceline for a RT from Sacramento for $430 including motel and rental car.

The Sieger Show website is up with new information.  More to follow as it becomes available.

I have attended numerous Sieger Shows in the past nearly 20 years. At none of these was there only one judge. If the entry warrants it, what sort of contingency plan is in place to have an additional judge or judges. IOW, would I want to spend the money for this show/trip if Johannes were to be judging my dog's class or the Working Males class?

....the judges are listed on the website...2 so far. You are aware of more than you let on...your venom is weakening:-)

Actually, Ron, there's only one judge listed for conformation--Nathanial Roque is doing the performance evals, not judging any of the classes.  Yes, Louise probably *has* heard more info than she lets on, but it IS unusual that there's only a single conformation judge listed at the moment.  Usually the classes are split between two of them.

Ron, Louise may be stirring the pot again, but, if Louise's query is prompted by what I *think* it is, that risotto "aux regles" needs to be stirred. :-) OTOH, Louise may just be asking an innocent question with nothing at all behind it. :-)

Louise,

You've always had very nice dogs. Which dogs would you be showing at the Sieger Show under the best of judges?

I plan to  show in the Veterans Class my Ursus Batu son, V Geronimo vom Olympus Sch3 IPO3. He will be 9 years old on the first day of the show. He is very youthful and in perfect condition. We have had previousgood luck showing in Texas--won the Veterans Class the the 2008 and 2009 South Central Regional shows. He also won this class at the 2009  Northwestern Regional show.
