I'm ok with whatever TOS are agreed on. Doesn't bother me any more than someone else's choice of a dog does.

Getting back to the TOS....
Instead of just saying (basically) we will punish you as we see fit. the conditions under which you will be banned should be clearly spelled out. And also the length of time. This way, punishment will be fair and evenhanded for all. I was going to copy and paste an example from another forum but that might be a violation of the TOS so here's a link. This is from an audio forum that I occasionally frequent. You'll need to scroll down the page a bit but the banning policy is clearly spelled out. IMO, the more clear you are about the rules, the less complaining there should be about moderators being unfair to certain individuals. Just my opinion.
