YR , As you know it is in scripture. There are people starving to death in the  world now, there  will be earth quakes, floods, valcano eruptions,  droughts,  all the things that have always been but more frequent and with more intensity. Which is evident those things are happening. Bible says nations will come against nations, which the correct Greek words are ethnos or ethnic groups, that is happening all over the world.Jesus said when you see all these signs look up for your redemption draweth near.

RS, The bible is pretty clear about a pre tribulation rapture, even though alot of people are not so clear.
Remember the bible says that ' " The traditions of man make the word of God of  none effect " Religon is confussing, But The word says God is not the author of confusion, so who is. I believe god.

Almost everything mentioned here is based on a literal view of the book. I'll try to remember to get some of my notes tomorrow and send another reply. But the first thing that is important to know is that Revelation is already fulfilled. Revelation 1:3 said the time of this prophecy was at hand. That language in the bible refers to something that will shortly happen. Another thing to remember is that Revelation was written to a specific people for a specific purpose. It was to encourage the people who were being persecuted—not to us.

What are we waiting ON?
What should we be looking for?
Stone tablets
The next thing to notice is that the tablets were made of stone. To the Children of Israel, this was surely a reflection of God’s never-changing nature: 1)His promises are forever. 2)Morality is a constant. It was a reassurance that they could depend on Him, no matter what happened. Perhaps it was a depiction of the Law as being, if I may, the cornerstone of their faith in God.

If the stone tablets with the 10 Commandment can be called the cornerstone of the Jewish faith, and Christ became the Law in flesh form, then it explains Psalm 118:22, “The stone which the builders rejected, this became the chief cornerstone.” Recall when God lamented in Jeremiah 31:32 about “My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them.” They (i.e., the builders) rejected the Law (i.e., the stone which is Christ). So, God said of future generations, “I will put My law within them, and on their heart I will write it.” As John 1:1 and Matthew 5:17 demand that we apply these verses to Christ, we see that the rejection of Christ is the fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:32, the gospel is the fulfillment of Jeremiah 31:33, and together they are a fulfillment of Psalm 118:22. Hence, we have Christ’s acknowledgement of these truths, when He quotes Psalm 118:22 in Matthew 21:24.

One last thing to notice about the tablets: God made them twice. God sent the Law to His people the first time, but Moses destroyed the tablets when he saw the Israelites with the golden calf. They had rejected God’s law even before Moses could give it to them, so he broke the tablets. However, God gave Moses a second set. It was the same Law, the same covenant, but different tablets. The Law they rejected the first time was sent to them again. By applying John 1:1 (Christ is the Law), Matthew 5:17 (Christ fulfills the Law), and Matthew 21:24 (Christ was rejected and is now the chief the cornerstone) to this series of events, we see here a further depiction of the coming of Christ. The first time Christ came, the people killed Him (destruction of the 1st set of tablets). Christ rose from the dead (the second set of tablets), then ascended to Heaven to be at the right hand of the Father (the placement of the tablets in the Ark). Today, we don't where the Ark is, but we know the tablets are in it. One day perhaps, the Ark will be discovered and brought once again in a temple built in Jerusalem (there are rumors that a select few have figured out where the Ark is!). Similarly, Christ will also appear again one day, though we know not when. But, we do that where He is now, He is at the right hand of Father's throne. The return of the stone tablets however will be very different from Christ's return. The return of the stone tablets can only mean defeat for Israel, as it sets the stage for the Anti-Christ to desecrate the temple. Christ's return however will be in victory over the Anti-Christ. If you're awaiting the rebuilding of the temple, don't await the stones (or stone tablets) the builders use; await the Stone they have rejected...Jesus!

-- Ahh that depends who US is and that "path of life". Jesus did write those 7 letters ya know. The letter to now US in Philadelphia is Revelation 3: 7-13. He wrote 6 other letters too. Our DOI was drafted and later signed in The Church of Philadelphia.

Amazing huh ? I love it, I love it, I love it. History that is.
I think I need a glass or two of wine now.
