If you ever get over here my way let me know and I,ll get out my Barrett 50 cal for you.

There is a local gun club that puts on some Tactical shooting classes couple times a year.

It like American Express never leave home without one. I carry my service glock and every adult member of my family keeps a firearm in the car and are all licensed to carry.

Yes I own guns, mostly just for hunting, but i'd like to get more into recreational shooting too.  More targets just for fun.  I need a new one though a 30-06 isn't fun to shoot 50 rounds out of at a time and a .22 just doesn't do it for me all the time.

Like shooting the shotgun though, shooting clays are fun, real birds are better and more tasty

like handguns, but don't own any.

but I do think everyone should learn how to handle and use guns from an early age.  everyone I grew up with did and nobody is scared of guns, nobody abuses the ownership of guns (unless you count those d-bags poaching) and nobody gets hurt.  Just families of safe sane gunowners.

I was raised with guns, learned to shoot when I was 5 years old, taugh to respect and properly handle all types of firearms.  Funny, my dad will be 81 tomorrow and I recently asked him if he still carried a gun, to which he responded, "No, now that I've gotten older, I carry two." LOL, love that man!

Is it weird think if everyone owned guns they're be a lot less violence?

The people ($%&% criminals) who hide behind holding a gun against unarmed civilians would be less brazen if they thought they were carrying as well.

That said, there is also the distinct possiblilty that more gun ownership may mean an abnormal boost in the amount of Darwin Awards given.  There is absolutely NO REASON a person should be shot cleaning while cleaning a weapon outside of sheer stupidity or ignorance.

If your going to own a gun, KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!!!! Heck whether or not you own one I think everyone should be taught basic marksmanship, and how to respect/treat a weapon.

I think the GSD community as a whole would be more pro gun ownership. They seem to almost compliment each other.

Eh just my .02

Bob,
I'd love to shoot that 50 cal.  I do lots of tactical shooting and training.  We even use a "live fire" shoot house.  Lots of fun, just hope your partner has his stuff together when you make room entries.

I was never racist.. until... I moved to CA......
I never believed in guns... until.... I moved to the south.....

so now I have one in my purse, one in my car, one on my night stand and if my redneck neighbor ever get drunk and stupid enough to come onto my property if my dogs don't get him I most definitely will.
