Maybe in CA, Max, but in other states it can be as little as 20'.
BTW- My pistol is for sale in PA, with a licensed gun dealer. I don't need it anymore. Its a Manhurin PPK. Nice little revolver for a woman, 7 chances to hit the target.

Shelly,

20'.................that's bad..better move to California.

Much to close....200 yards is too close.

I DID move "home"  to Northern California! That's why I sleep so well! The jerk would never come this far out of his comfort zone, and even if he did, the cops and the neighbors know how to deal with guys like him here.

I guess besides lacking netiquette, some posters here are unable to read. The dog belongs to my new boyfriend. I do not have anything that belongs to my ex. And Don Corleone, Your mother is a whore and she sleeps around so much she doesn't know who your daddy is. I guess she deserves this. There is always some idiot who will believe something that is on the internet. Whether it is true or not. You and a few other posters must think if a woman gets raped she asked for it in some way.

Astrodog,

I have seen crazy ex's they are very dangerous be careful and take care.
We are all concerned when we see this.

Me I found my girlfriend in bed with a stranger years ago and I was the cool one they
were freaking out....I got a lot of work done seeing I had alot of time on my hands with out
my unfaithful girlfriend.....I could have married her thank God I found out before that.

You take care and don't  let the emotions make you say anything that well make him do something crazy.
Just stay away and don't talked to him let the police handle it.

watch the movie fatal attraction.......it goes both ways......Good luck, be safe.

"I have my dog, actually his dog and my boyfriend"

That is what you said, and as you were talking about your ex, who am I to suppose 'his' is? Actually that sentence made no sense to me, so I was doing the best I could with it.

Where did you get this dog?  The pound?  Just curious.

by beetree on 13 March 2011 - 22:03

I took it that way too! Astrodog if you want sympathy, you must be clear. The dummies get found out quick here...

Immediately denying yourself the best shot at protection, (police involvement) makes you sound stupid.

Whoa-whoa-whoa there, Astrodog--nowhere did I see Don Corleone make any comment that could be construed as you deserved to be called a slut, and yes, the way you wrote that statement about the dog and your new boyfriend, it DID read like you still had your EX's dog, not your new boyfriend's dog.  So you can't blame anyone for thinking that your ex might be 'stalking' (i.e. harassing) you in an effort to get his dog back.  Simply put, you weren't clear.  You owe Don, and his mother, an apology.

I'm guessing you're pretty young, or else you'd realize that it doesn't matter what someone says about you--what matters is your CHARACTER, how you carry yourself, and your actions.  There's always going to be somebody that has something unkind or uncomplimentary to say about you at one time or another, and you can't spend your life worrying about it.  So he put up a webpage that calls you a slut, a ho, and the person who kidnapped the Lindburgh baby--so what?  You've got to develop a thicker skin in this world if you're going to be able to deal with the volume of jerks you'll run across.

First get a restraining order! Then there are private security firms that can help people with situations like this. Just due your homework.
