I think this should be a religion and politics free thread. Kind of like a "safety zone". I call it the Hot Tub Asylum and you can stop by and escape the madness. Drinking is okay, but if you get sloppy drunk, expect a good dunking. Help choose the perfect hot tub, I like the out doorsy ones, myself.

Aaahhh, that feels so good.  Slipping in with my burrito, fresh key lime pie and of course, a shot of tequila in grapefruit juice.  We had so much fun this afternoon, but it's still a bit chilly out there.  Walked leisurely, chased some squirrels (not me, Drake), climbed a few hills, sniffed a few ground hog holes, got pretty muddy, but all in all, a good afternoon.  As a matter of fact, any time we spend together makes for a good day.  Now we both get to relax, watch the sunset, think about what tomorrow will bring.

The birds are looking for nest materials, so we'll do a really good brushing tomorrow, get down deep in his undercoat so the baby birds will be nice and toasty.  He's not even due for a good grooming yet, just did one last week, but it can't hurt and it's recycling at it's best.  Anybody come up with a way to re-use nail clippings?

Funny, I went to my parents' last night for my Dad's birthday and I got to groom their dog too.  He's a bad little Yorkie with almost no hair.  He's got some kind of genetic condition where all of the places he's blue, he's got very little hair, just a few strays.  But, where he's tan, on his head, paws, belly and under his tail, the hair is perfectly normal.  So, bath time is a breeze :)  His nails were way too long becuase Dad's clippers were broken and he kept forgetting to buy a new one.  So, I had to take quite a bit off and he wasn't really happy about it, but he knows better than to give me a hard time.

So, think I'll sit here and enjoy the view, drink in hand and Drake laying just outside, I'm stroking his big old head.  Nice view, BTW.  Life is good.

Hey Ladies! Just got home and cracked open an ice cold Grolsch. Got lots of meatloaf and pasta leftovers to share, so everyone is happy!

clc29, I can't wait to try your homemade Limoncello, sounds invigorating!
