What's the big deal? We all have a problem with somebody. For me, it's the Swiss. These people know how to make a watch and knife, but can't figure out how to make cheese without holes? It really pisses me off. I pay the same amount for pepperjack without the holes.

BE, you probably know this, but did the USS BARRY come out of retirement since Obama came into office? Because, I agree would be REALLY funny.

I only read few of the replies and I'm sure I shall read all the posts, it's interesting to know what people here think of the situation in Libya.

Almost all of the Arab and Muslim countries have no democratic or truly elected governments, Libya is no different. As all can see Arab peoples are encouraged to move against their tyrant presidents and Kings especially after what took place in Tunisia and Egypt. I believe that in the West there is democracy and fair power practice of leaders with their own nations, but your leaders are not as fair when it comes to other nations. I can understand that governments act according to their own interests when it comes to international relations, but at the same time there are some ethics that leaders should stick to, such as they should not encourage non-democratic governments and leaders, they should not be friends with criminal leaders. Qathafi was and is a criminal, he killed without any justice innocent people on that plane, he killed his own people and stole Libya's money.

I think Muslims, Christians, jews and all people are human beings who deserve decent life and have equal rights, no human being should unjustly kill another. All nations should stand by and help each other in difficult and crucial times.

I can understand that some in the west hate us as much as some of us hate them, but it is all wrong. What the leaders in the West did towards the Libyan people is much appreciated here, I see people praising them and feel thankful. I believe this will lessen the hate some felt towards what Bush did to Iraq and will bring our nations closer.

What is most important is that Qathafi be pushed to leave, it does not turn into a civil war and Libya remains one country and Coalition does not stop too early.

Ibrahim, You are right  every ethnic group should be treated fairly . As we are all part of the human race. Every group of peoples have good and bad. Thats why it is so important to not stereotype all people as good or bad. My father in law was a pipeline superantendant in Iran in the late 1960s and always loved the people there. He left 3 days before the over throw of the shaw. But he always said the people there always treated him good. And he always treated them with respect. But Ibrahim we don't live in the same world it use to be, and that is a shame. You take care of your self.

Thanks Hank, I agree, I read all the posts and I want to add this:

Libyan people were encouraged to demand their rights taking steps after their neighbors, Tunisians and Egyptians. The Libyan leader who is just a plain killer did not stand his own people turning against him in public. It all started peacefully but he decided to suppress his people and shoot them with live bullets. Then people had to protect themselves with guns and light artillery they acquired from Qathafi forces and some of the army joined the protesters. Qathafi used his might military forces to attack those people, even with air force. The world saw this on TVs and leaders had to choose either to stand still watching Qathafi massacre his own people or interfere, they decided to interfere and protect the Libyans, it is as simple as that.

Big countries have their own interests to protect in Libya, that is natural and accepted as long as they are fair to the Libyan people. Qathafi should leave the power, he even should be taken to a just court, Libyan people should be protected meanwhile, Libyan infrastructure should not be destroyed, Libyan people should be helped to elect their own government, West countries will safeguard their interests in Libya (the oil and other investments), and I'm sure they will gain a grateful nation and a friendly country. Libyans are so grateful to France, States and Britain, if the Coalition's interference was delayed 24 hours people of Benghazi (700,000) would have been massacred by Qathafi, their cry for help was met in the right time.

The decision Obama took was in my eyes correct and courageous, I hope it will not negatively hurt him in the coming elections.
