Hello, Does any one know if Haus Gero Kennel is still active? 1983 VA1 Dingo Haus Gero is still considered by many as the berst mover ever. Who was the owner? I always wonder where have the kennel which once had top dogs gone for e.g.Haus Beck, Noricum, Romerau, etc.

dingo also has been credited with working ability and you will find this dog within a fair amount of working line pedigrees. although he may not have been the most beautiful dog ever, one cannot help but notice the harmony in his structure and balance in proportions....probably contributing to his movement. i like to see this dog's name appear in a pedigree and have had a number of his decendants. good dogs. :)

When the SV had their choice of any GSD on the planet to produce their gaiting video the choice was none other than Dingo vom Haus Gero. May I add that I believe my Dingo grandson, Panzer vom Treu, is the most intelligent German Shepherd Dog I have ever had the pleasure of knowing--- You can talk to him like he is human in English and commands are bi-lingual. He is a "homebred". We bred our Baldo vom Wolkenstein daughter to Dingo son Feger vom Luffe Park. He turned 11 this past March and is as "majestic as ever". Having lost a 14 and a 13 year old this month, one being his half sister he is now, by 2 days oldest in our family. We have 3 generations behind him. Ditto on the other kennels-- I have a Mark vom Haus Beck Grandson and some solid Trienzbachtal lines that I would love to be able to breed back into! A little brag, a BIG vote for Dingo vom Haus Gero. Thank you for indulging me. Morgan

VA1 Dingo vom Haus Gero is the dog on whom the GSD movement is based!

Hello, Thank you everyone for sharing information. What I gathered from everyones comments is Dingo was a fabulous dog. A true GSD or can call the GSD Max Von Stefanitz thought of. Unfortunately that treasure of Genes is lost now. PJdogs and Radical you are still lucky to have that genepool with you. PJdog and Radical I would like to see the photos of your dogs if you dont mind. Are they on the database. Please forward me the information. Thank You

Thanks Radical. I will post you my females photo. I think her anatomy is like you are talking about. She is a very good and free mover.Let me know what you think about her. You did not explain what you mean by stretched.

The owner of the Kennel vom Haus Gero is Rolf Jansen. He must be around 70 year¿s old or even older. The last litter who registered under his name is from 1996. Very best regards Frank
