Steve.... I do agree with VonIsengard that you have taken out of some posts only what you want to hear...Maybe you are misunderstanding what is being said....: )
I honestly think we all agree about the importance of SAFETY  and the responsibility a handler has to control his dog appropriately.....I think we are having a lack of communication....lol...: )

The OP seems satisfied with the thread and that is a good thing...: )

            Good Luck laura271...: )

Why is it i am the one who does not understand i find that strange, As for your dog Deanna i am not interested in what happened, it is Laura's Dog ONLY i am referring to no other case
As for another here saying the trainer may be an expert with such dogs and he may train those sort of dogs, NOT all in this group were needing that sort of training NOWHERE does Laura say that her Dog is a biter or in need of special training or the others training there only the BITER was causing trouble and disturbing the others
ONE of the group is a BITER only one dog not the others  do you not understand that, Yet you say the other handlers and dogs should leave if they do not like it
I have come to the conclusion that you and Voss know little about handling dogs in general the way you go about it. Of course you and the other one will bluster on saying you have done this and that BUT sorry' you both have proved by your replies on here in the disregarding of the safety of other Handlers and Dogs in a situation that should not arise after the first time it happens on the training ground and i repeat
You do not let a BITER stay on a field where clear headed dogs are working okay together with there handlers and this is what was happening in Laura's case, Your problem with your dog is nothing to do with the OPs problem and is not applicable on this thread and i am not in any way referring to your situation only this one, Now do you two Ladies understand
Steve1

I have done a fair bit of Hunting in the UK  i.e Fox Hunting, Now when there is a KICKER in the Hunt, that horse has a coloured ribbon tied on its tail to warn everyone it is a Kicker and it does not stay in a group of horses stationary, it is well away from the other horses and riders, But these two clever ladies condone a Biter of a Dog stay with well mannered Dogs and Handlers in the same group as is the case in this thread.
I find that stupid beyond belief

    Steve,

I will make this my last post on the subject. Obviously I am not communicating clearly .....
You said, "As for your dog Deanna i am not interested in what happened, it is Laura's Dog ONLY i am referring to no other case".................I have not directed any statements to you regarding my dog, so I am not sure why you feel it necessary to make this statement....I have only make comments about the OP's dog and trainer....

You are correct in saying that I have little experience, as far as VonInsegard, well given her reputation , that is a nasty insult.....: (

As far as horses that kick, we have a few that compete with us and wear a ribbon on their tails. They ride right along side all the other riders and horses in the arena....It  is the other riders responsibility to stay clear of the kicker....

Lets not let this thread come between us...: )

   Deanna...: )

wow....

steve i guarantee you half of the forum including myself had just decided that you are a real piece of work....of all people to pick on and their dog....come on... (shakes her head...)......

of all the crap you pulled before this is your new low...

Any owner who is at least trying to get their dog into a class, and get some sort of education deserves a medal...otherwise it becomes one of those "junk yard" dogs who are completely unsocialized, unwanted, un cared for or isolated spoiled brats...Do you think its easy for those people to be in a class among almost perfectly behaved dogs, do you not think it's mortifying to have the only dog that wants to kill everything that moves? It takes guts to stand there and it takes nerves of steal to remain calm and be able to control yourself from beating the crap out of the dog....

no of course not..no one thinks about that...the 1st step that person takes to fix the problem, we shut them up and make sure they never attempt anything that "stupid" again... and you are in the first ranks of those people...very little help but a lot of criticism!

Deanna
You did not but the one in co who agrees with you DID, So i am not refering to your Dog at all on this thread it simply does not apply to this thread at all, Nothing wrong said in that this thread and i repeat because so many do not understand is about the OPs Dog only and the problem within her training club
I have said nothing negative about Deanna or her dog except to say it is not applicable in this thread and it is not
 Ladyfrost
You can think of me as you will but i say it as i see it
IF i am ever asked a question i answer it, If i ask you Americans for an answer MOST shut the hell up and work round it a lot of you are not genuine its the way you post you edge your bets if put into a Corner i do not, i answer every single time,
NOW' Lady frost that poor BITER of a dog according to you and others is allowed in a group of well behaved Dogs WHY because it is the outsider, and that is where it should stay outside the well behaved group and be socialized with the so called Trainers Dogs as company not other peoples Dogs and the Handlers to be used as scapegoats just because the poor dog bites
Now you think so little of me Ladyfrost Lets get it all out in the open.
Tell me and all on here how bad i am and what crap i have said and how little i know after 61 bloody years with more dogs than most on here including yourself
Do not be Shy and do not be one of those people i mention above saying that over the time names escape me but many have not committed themselves when asked a question SO lets have it straight out like a grown up person you said it now lets here all the terrible things i have said and not known what i am talking about, You the expert among many on here should not be shy in saying what they are So as we say over here 'Put your money where your mouth is'
I notice this is not the first time you have said a similar thing so this time Let us all here it you must have kept a record of the Crap things i have said and pulled
But first get your own house in order
Earlier today i was training and i spoke to a couple of Guys who come and work over in the USA trying to educate some of you people to Dog handling and such  One even used to post on here but gave it up as a bad job and he is a qualified Helper, Trainer, SV Judge etc but he said  you will not get through to a lot of the guys in the USA they know it all even to the point of hiring people like him then tell him when he gets there at times,
I said i find it hard to believe, but after reading your post i guess he was correct certainly in your case you are one of them for sure, I have worked along side with your military and at the start they came out with we have this, we have that, we are better, we are this and you are you,
They soon bloody well found out who was who and it was not them in my case thats for sure, But then mutual respect took over and we worked well together, Ladyfrost, i have faced better snipers in real life with real bullets than you can fire so get on with it

steve so now not only are you insulting members of this post you are insulting American people...Great job! way to Go!

I am not going to get in a pissy match I had posted when i disagreed with you and you had replied, check your history and refer to your own posts and you will see when i said and what, besides this thread is not about who can piss the furthest.

You clearly stated your opinion, I clearly stated mine. I may not be 61 years old and I am no dog expert but I have common courtesy not to bash people or other countries and sum up MOST people of that country into one category ( as you said it) If i ask you Americans for an answer MOST shut the hell up and work round it a lot of you are not genuine.

My original post in itself is a contradiction to your statement.
Now I know as long as I reply you will continue to ramble on and on and on, so thanks for reading but I think i will end there, I was clear, to the point and if that is not good enough, I am sorry I guess we Americans can see a hot air when one is present.

steve1

by steve1 on 20 July 2011 - 21:07

Ladyfrost
Yes, and you are full of hot air
Now me being a gentleman would not normally speak to a lady in such a manner but in your case you do not act a Lady so thats okay
There are many on here and born in the USA who i respect very much for there dog wisdom and the way they act and i call them friends . I asked you to put up the allegations you made you have not done so, i would have had more respect for you if you had done so now you get what i mean by some on here not answering questions you have done the same yourself.
As for not respecting your countrymen What are you doing in my case just the damn same, it is you who piped in where you had no need to do so i said nothing negative about Deanna just it did not apply to this thread so you get it back ten fold.
I guess like in the past for some reason you would have a go at Steve1,
Well expect to get it back if you do Woman or not i do not take the slack from anyone in words or in real life face to face. Unpleasantness we do not need but i will say as i think just the same as everyone else if it is not liked then thats tough i am not going round trying to curry favour with anyone if i think it not warranted and by the way i think Deanna is a great Girl
My last on this thread
Steve1
