in the early nineties a policeman in strathclyde police was due to retire he adored his dog n offered the division 18 months before the cost off a new pup to retrain in jeps place on his retiral this was refused ,the day harry retired he was called into head offfice n given the dogs papers and was told the dog was his heres hoping for a similarly good ending praying for saxom xxxxxxx

Hi Birdy a lot is going on behind the scenes, The Uk Guardian, BBC TV Wales, Dog Magazine and the Richard and Judy show all have details re Saxon, all but the last (R&J) are currently investigating/writing the story. And there a others waiting in the wings. The welfare of police dogs group visited Saxon yesterday and they have issued a statement as have the Gwent police, neither statement is a guarantee of Saxons repreive but by the same token it is not a definate on the execution - we must keep up the pressure. C.

Gwent police have had so many emails their system crashed. Keep the pressure up.We have to save Saxon

Coinops, How convenient for them. Perhaps we should find out who they report to and redirect all the emails (also save the messages to resend to Gwent when their systems are back up---wouldn't dream of leaving them out).

It would help if they could answer my emails!
