So the same club (with two different names) had both a WDA trial and a USA trial on the same day in the same place?? And one handler handled six dogs, 3 in WDA trial and 3 in USA trial? That's an interesting way to get around the 3 dog limit, if this is the way things went? I may be misunderstanding.

Regardless of the mess up with the paperwork the USA rules state.......... E-Ballot 9-04 The Regional Director has the authority to automatically suspend a club for one year If is found to have hosted another organizaton's event on the same day as that given on a USA Event Authorization.

How is it that a USA official filing the score sheets did not noitice that they were the wrong forms, wrong dates, and wrong judges???? The judge must sign the forms after ensuring all information is correct. At least that's what the instructions say.

Im just speculating here, but could it be that the handler was as confused as many of us seem to be regarding the correct club name for each organization, and so filled out forms for both and inadvertently submitted both? That seems to me a likely scenario, and would explain why stronger action was not taken. It appears that USA is making a statement to clubs to keep their papers in order.

By the way what IS the 07 location?

by redcap on 16 October 2006 - 23:10

The club secretary fills out the scores heets and the judge signs them. The dog handlers do not send anything to the national club.

i am in no place to judge ANYONE... who are any of us to stand with our noses in the air and look down and judge the happenings of this when we dont even know the real live facts, or what kind of day the person(s) had when accidentally the paperwork was submitted incorrectly... i dont know bout you guys, but the things that consist in my day, never mind if i am having an ADHD day... on top of having my 13 yr old kid, a husband who isnt into the dogs to help me so i have to do it all, worming, nails, brushing, meds, feed, walk, work, bathe, etc.. on top of taking care of the household, i have to cook, clean, wash clothes, sew, homework, sweep, mop, take care of any sick people, do the shopping, the bills... etc... THEN never mind if i am able to work... i am an officer for a dog club, officer for a gun club, in catholic school pta, (i am sure those who can relate know where i am coming from) but for any of us to sit above anyone in that club and judge, not even speaking to them first hand (me included i didnt even know about this til i saw this online and have yet to even ask anyone about it) i just think is plain old closed minded, one sided or has some sort of jealousy factor in all this because folks are pissed off the show is going to be on the east coast again... i cannot believe this was even posted without even researching it privately first... if someone has issues with this club, why not go to them, why not just ask them first hand? I may have missed a prior post that led to this one, but why was this started in the first place? from what i gather its a misunderstanding and is going to be cleared and what sux is the good souls and hard working folks in this club were pre judged without any clear cut evidence, all because of jealousy probably, IMO. jealousy rules peoples lives to make them try to blackball people... i guess i am old fashioned.. if i have a problem with someone, some club ANYONE, i go right to them and share my issue let them speak on their behalf before judging and posting things online Dawnmarie

Gee if the clubs were forced to publish results on their websites, we could all see what was going on within days. Instead we hear word of mouth, rumor, etc. Then wait until the magazine comes out.
