Hi Guys - I am not some huge PETA fan, but I heard about this undercover Iams video and watched it here: http://www.iamscruelty.com/videos.asp . Made me weep for those innocent dogs. PLEASE go watch it. It is HORRENDOUS. I used to buy Eukanuba until Iams bought them out. Now I will have NOTHING to do with Iams (and they are in EVERYTHING, so it's not easy - check labels). It's just HORRIBLE what they do in their labs to dogs - you won't believe your eyes when you see their undercover footage at that site. How can they say they care about the long life and health of our pets when they themselves are being cruel to theirs? PLEASE go there, watch it, and make your own educated decision of whether you should profit this company - UGH - I'm not. I am a fan of Solid Gold (http://www.solidgoldhealth.com) and EVO Red Meat (http://www.naturapet.com ). Most people don't know anything about Iams torturing animals - but IT'S TRUE. Please pass it on. Thanks! :)

I will go check this out but you need to be careful before you believe everything you see on the internet or the media in general. Especially where activist groups are concerned.

This is a Peta website. This makes it totally invalid. Those are the biggest group of idiots you will ever find. Totally untrustworthy.

......good grief. another scam technique by unscrupulous persons wishing to dredge up the emotions of good-hearted,dog-lovin' people and apparently doing so very successfully..........

I would not trust peta for a minute. They are founded with the purpose of fighting against animal ownership, and will stop at nothing. To make matters worse they manipulate the emotions of the naiive to drum up hysteria.

On the subject of Iams, I have wondered for years what the difference was between Iams and Eukanuba. They appear to be very similar in formulation, and manufactured in the same facilities, but I have had dogs who were quite happy with Iams, yet refused Eukanuba. This just came to mind. I wonder if anyone has had this experience.

I have never used either one so can't help you. Noticed another posting on this messageboard where they are discussing these brands.

Peta operates off of contributions so maybe IAMS didn't pony up enough?

As much as I feel that all animals have rights, I dare never venture near any type of public statements, awareness campaigns, or supposed "data" and "documentaries" generated by the PETA organization. My 1.5 cents, Bob-O

jdh, i've fed both. dogs love both. eukanuba is just more spendy. that's the only difference i see
