Glad you made it back! He looks like he really squeezed into that luggage bag, sheesh! Another few days and he would have needed his own seat on the plane.

Thanks for the update Bee. Beau must have a great disposition to stay in that bag without causing a big fuss. LOL

Looks like Mojo likes him.

Has he met that killer cat yet?

Great pictures.

I'll bet you still can't believe you pulled off the entire expedition without a major hitch.

A new day, LOL! He did much better last night... and so did I!  He chowed down his raw breakfast, my DH has bought assorted chicken parts and has suddenly taken to talking to butchers. Except I can't get him to buy hamburger... arghhhh!  He drives me nuts sometimes; he bought beef stir fry strips! I'll have to go out later and buy it myself.

DebiSue... I meant to tell you yesterday, you nailed it about me finding "presents" waiting for me because I let him sleep outside the crate while I took my shower! lol

Ninja, he has an awesome disposition and it is true, I couldn't have asked for a better match for Riley, it is amazing how that worked out. And the bag really wasn't as bad as he is making it look! He just was happy scrunched up at one end with his head popping out. I kept the tray table up and directed the air onto him. He liked that. And then when I got my soda, I fed him a few ice cubes, and he liked that, too. All the passengers were impressed with his great attitude, too! LOL There was actually an adult standard poodle in first class, that walked on... I figured he was a service dog of some sort?

And no, he has not met the cat, and probably won't for a real long time. The cat only uses the second story window for egress, so he's pretty safe from puppy.

And yes, our travel plans went really well. We even managed to hitch a ride on one of the electric carts when we landed into Denver on the way home. I saw two elderly ladies get on, and I looked the driver in the eye, and engaged him in my most pleading look, with my son and burdened arms, and said, can we get on, too? Our gate is B16. (Which was about 90 gates away from where we landed!)  He said, OK, and we did. We let Beau's head pop out on the ride, and it was fun seeing all the people look and smile at him as we rode on by! I wish I had a few bucks handy to tip the driver, but it was just too darn much for me to deal with finding money at that time. I do regret that!

Okay, here are some more pictures:

Riley and another boy meet their puppies for the first time.

Beau is a gusty eater, make no mistake! And yes, he got snipped... by accident. I can't blame Steph, we counted with Riley and including puppies, there were 23 dogs at her place. I can see how it happened. I was going to wait some... but too late now, LOL  And Steph... I think we forgot to chip him, or just ran out of time... no worries, I'll have him done here. I had to help Steph by holding the other little boy's pup's head so she could chip him. The new owners kept letting her squiggle and Steph said she also had some tough skin, so it took a try, one too many than ideal. But the pup was just fine and forgot her ordeal quicker than I did!

Covered in puppies and lovin' it.

Riley with horses. This is a view from Steph's front yard. Riley is standing next to her palomino gelding, and to the left is the beautiful mare who was a bit frustrated because Steve was busy wrangling up her 4 month old red colt, I think his name is Copper (?) I 'm sorry I don't have a picture of him but he sure gave Steve a run for his money! Finally got the halter on him, and we did get to pet his soft nose. Notice how you absolutely can not see any mountains at this time, and believe me they are there... somewhere hidden by the forest fire smoke.

That's all I have time for at the moment... to be continued. :)

What a fabulous adventure this has been. When I got my pups it was nowhere near this exciting LOL (they were, but not the places I went to get them :) Love the look on Mojo's face when he sees Beau! Gorgeous, just gorgeous. Oh you have some fun to come. Blessed are those households with 2 dogs :)

The covered in puppies photo is just adorable. I love it!!

The pile of puppies picture is great! What are the names of the two horses above? I especially love the palomino.
