Well, I believe what you said about 75% of the code still being the same...

BECAUSE THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING AS WITH THE OLD BOARD!!!  

Once in a blue moon it would let me upload a picture. Most of the time, the picture loads into the editor, then when you press 'Okay', it hangs up and won't post.

This is with IE 9. It's probably not relevant, because others are having problems with photos too, but I haven't been able to update my computer for a couple of months because my permissions are all messed up.

 

 

Have tried to go into ckfinder. And upload there? Press browse server from the image dialog and upload there

Linked and uploaded images working just fine for me.

Yes, Oli, I've tried that, too. The image is there (after I press 'send it to the server'), but will not post. Okay, once in awhile, it will post, maybe about 1 time in 10.

I've wondered if it has anything to do with the signal strength from my internet provider. I use a mobile USB stick, as I live where other types of internet access (DSL, cable) aren't available. The signal strength sucks sometimes, because a big tree on my property blocks the signal.

The strength is failry good right now. Let's see if I can post using the editor.

Nope. Wont work. When I go to close the dialogue box, I get a message: Some of the options have changed. Are you sure you want to close the editor?

You need to redo your computer. If you can't update that is a classic sign of virus infection. Besides you need to be able to update your system.

I've only had this problem since I updated my browser to IE 9. I think it has stricter permissions, and fixing the permissions is REALLY complicated because the way THEY tell me to do it is has different options from what shows up on my computer!

The ironic thing? I updated my browser in the hopes it would HELP ME POST PICTURES HERE!   And links, and be able to cut and paste again....

I have also cleared my cache, and tried Firefox and Google Chrome for posting. One of them was even worse than IE.

I am sick and tired of being told it's my computer, because this is the only website I'm having issues with!

Oli, I was able to post pictures briefly, after you fixed this 'cloud' application you'd installed. That's the only time in the last couple of months that the problem has gone away.
