seems to me if every post you've made resulted in insults then maybe there is more to the story than you are willing to admit.
Also, look up the man named Two Moons sometime, it may surprise you, although that is not the origin of my user name.
I have no problem digesting your insults directed at my courage or manhood so have at it.
You don't try very hard to be nice yourself I've noticed while you reprimand everyone else.
I have three very fine dog's by the way, one of which is exceptional.
What would Max think, who gives a shit, Max is dead, and the GSD of today is not the same dog that Max first bred to herd.
Now,
if there is something you'd like to ask me about please feel free to do so.
And try not to be such a tool.
Moons.

You started the what a" GSD" was not. You are right the dog is not what it used to be and you do not get to decide what it is. You only get to decide what you want, and I get to decide what I want. Bring your dogs to my house and we will see what they are made of. I would hope good who knows. My dog scares the crap out of all of my neighbors and that is why my house is one of the few that has not been broken into. It sucks but thugs will not rum me out. Looking for one more Hard civil aggressive dog. Call it want you want maneater, vicious or just effective and nessary to do the job. Besides I love the challenge to these over the top dog that you have to work with.
"if there is something you'd like to ask me about please feel free to do so.

I will take you at your word. Who are you and what is your point in your nasty posts?
"tool" a device used to get something done.
What does it mean to you?
Paul
and you already know where I live? LOL
I like Holland beer and some of their dogs.
It appears I am not the only one that thinks you have been an ass so do me a favor be nice to me. Just a start. You never know you may want to work dogs sometime or need a place to stay when you come through Springfield. You never know when you need a friend.

I think we all have the capacity to get a litty shitty, well maybe not Ibrihim, but I seldom see a newbie here mistreated just for being novice and wanting to learn. It's a little different for those wanting to educate the board on things like wolf dogs, old time oversize GSD etc., but really this has always seemed to be a community not that open to folks who don't put the GSD as a breed first. Nothing wrong with that, there are plenty of boards for the puppy millers.

first to explain, your dog cannot protect you against what it is you fear, they are vulnerable and can be killed.
Best you rely on your own self defense.
Yes a well trained dog can be very useful, but they cannot replace your own ability and were never meant to.
A warning, a little time for you to react yes, but not invincible, not a cure.
I know of more than a few trained dogs killed by a human with nothing more than hands and brute force.
Also I know of many dogs shot or poisoned in their own yards.
Who am I?
I'm a man, I live in Southern Indiana, and what is it that seems nasty about any of my posts?
You'll need to be specific.
A tool?
we'll just let that one alone for now.
I'm not running for anything, no office or post, I take things as they come.
If others think I am an ass they are entitled to their opinions, perhaps they take some responsibility for that themselves.
As for friends?
I find the concept deceptive and misunderstood, even taken for granted by some.
Moons.

I never said I had no friends, I said the concept is misunderstood.
You keep trying, I know you can do better than that.
