I thought Beau should have a new thread for the new year. Well, I was just going to let the old one die, but it seems he has a few fans who still want to see him finish growing up. We may never know who his daddy is, but quite a few of us are convinced he is actually part rhino. It is uncanny and unlikely, but the resemblance in undeniable!

Baby Rhino's are good company if you have a fever, according to my son. They sure help a sick kid feel much better, sooner.

Mojo still amazes us with his nanny-dog sensitivity towards Beau. If they were lost in the woods, stranded for days, I am absolutely certain Mojo would make sure Beau ate first before he did. He's always giving way to the ever greedy mouth of Baby Rhino.  He'll also tease him into keep away play. And Beau of course loves a good sneak attack himself. Mostly, they get along if we share the love. And we do!

Here's Mojo, who is starting to look like a ballet dancer, next to Beau. I wonder what he's thinking, maybe, "What were you thinking when you said...
....let's get another dog!"

What a face on that pup! He looks like a hug waiting to happen! You're a Good Bee, adopting Rhinos, & Mojo looks a very patient soul! Hope your sicklet is soon better! jackie harris

Thanks Slamdunc, Psycht, and Kalibeck... the boy will be returning to school on Monday... and is much better, now. I think we got lucky it wasn't this nasty flu everyone is talking about.

Here is a picture from January, I threw him outside to eat his first ever, venison. He loves it, and Mojo wanted in on the venison, too. That Mojo is funny about  his food, be it raw or not.....seems it has to be presented in just the right way!  Too bad for him, because by the time he gets it the way he wants it, here comes Beau coming to claim it all. I have to really separate them to eat sometimes or Mojo would just starve.

Check out this other picture and the can of dog food next to Mojo... he's giving us a hint and at the same time, usually likes to taunt Beau into thinking he wants that can, too! Anything to get Beau out of HIS chair!

How old is Beau now?  How much does he weigh?  Big boy!

GG, take a look at this "How Big Will My Pup Grow" calculation.... I just made my oldest son weigh Beau, I certainly wasn't going to try to pick him up! LOL

He weighed in at 70 lbs.......!  http://www.pupvana.com/taking-care-of-a-puppy/how-big-will-my-puppy-get.html#puppy-growth-calculator

A Happy New Year to the 'small' blue bulldozer !!

Bee, when you say he's part Rhino, do you also mean
he wallows in puddles at every opportunity  (or would
that be a half Hippo ?)   See, we are still playing
"Hoosier Daddy ?"

126 pounds approx.  Let me see : that means he'll
end up about 63 kilos in Euro-speak.  Jeeez  !  That's
about TWO GSD bitches.
