this is what we should be breeding for...........maybe 10-15 lbs lighter would be ok too but if the dog can move like this one then even this weight is just fine.

His scores look like he is a good sport dog, but why is this the "ultimate GSD"? ( Not being a smart ass at all ) There are many reasons I would not want him from the youtubes I seen, but I do want to know why you think he is the ultimate.

I posted in response for good discussion not to down this dog or promote another.

I second Paul, for the same good reasons, especially as this post is in the conformation section

VA Seffe vom Busecker Schloß

What about this dog?

by Ibrahim on 22 June 2013 - 19:06

That is a very good structure but we need to see OP's definition of ultimate to determine how close or far this dog is !!.

She is

VA Seffe vom Busecker Schloß

She was a very hard bite for real bitch from the old days when Sch  really meant "protection dog" not sport dog or show dog. I miss the old dogs.

I like her :) She's the girl you were telling me about.. very nice!

That's VA structure....because the form translates into working, power, strength, speed, ....whole package! A true VA dog should be anatomically and functionally exceptional from my small perspective!

In order for the GSD to be the ultimate breed, there is little room for an ultimate dog. There should be many top specimens. There should be different blood lines. These variations on blood should  be matched to keep generation after generation of the best utility working dogs . I once was listening to a owner of a different breed at some function, tell who ever would listen that her dog had all of the best specimens in its  pedigree. My thought? What a shame because there were no possible breedings to be done unless it was to inferior animals. There is no top dog, blood line, nor need for it to be so.
