Ok, bee, so that clears it all up. If you were tricked by my post, all I can say is, don't be. I meant it as said.

by beetree on 12 August 2013 - 13:08

Right. So you don't want to answer the question. Have a great day.

marketing is all about perception.  Prices are then set on that perception.  and people do a lot to influence the perception of others.

On the other side of the coin, I will use my stock dog program for example. We have spent tons of money, thousands of hours in breeding selecting training, feeding ect. and I FEEL it should be worth millions. But the fact is, it's not. Each dog has to live on it's own merits. We do not sell puppies because we do not want to sell our future great dog, as well we do not want to sell out "pukes" so we train and finish all of the dogs then they are sold.

Some people want or have the need to raise their next dog from a puppy. That is not the best way to get a dog that fits your life.

The value of a puppy or dogs is this...How bad do I want vs.how bad do you want it.  I really like my Bomber daughter she is nice. She is not for sale and is one of the nicest females for her age I have ever seen, but there is a price I would take.

Supply and demand

Bee, I didn't know what question you were talking about, then saw your post that was evidently posted while I was composing my last one.
My answer to your question is, I don't sell my dogs to "pet consumers" who dictate prices. And as for " least experienced one's who haven't a clue what all those letters mean on that precious piece of paper." , if they are pet buyers and are clueless, then I send them to the shelter for a rescue.
Thank you, I intend to have a good day and mow some overgrown grass, while it's not raining for the moment.

So being rude to inquiries by someone who seeks a pet from one of your breedings is standard procedure. Got it.

Confused Smile

Bee, how is recommending a rescue to someone who is "clueless", being rude?
I really don't care what your answer is, you are seemingly being argumentative and I have better things to do than banter with you.
Ta ta.

by beetree on 12 August 2013 - 15:08

Joan,
I would appreciate it if you don't want me to answer, then don't ask me a question. I am not being argumentative for its sake. Rather you keep trying to misconstrue my words and intentions. I guess I will defend myself.

Ask yourself if you'd like the same reply to an inquiry to buy a pedigree dog you seem interested in. Try the shoe on the other foot, and you might get the idea why you are being insulting. Ta ta to yourself. Your assertions are not going to define me. Later gater.

Another thread ruined by meaningless back and forth BS. Gotta love it.
