You might want to read about some problems with advantix2. I would not put it on a stuffed toy dog. I'd stop using it, bath the dogs and see if they get better.

My old girl (lived to be almost 15) was allergic to Advantix, she got really sick with loose stool and vomiting.  So it is not the be all, end all.  I would try a more natural approach to flea problems, tea tree oil spray mixed with citrus or orange oil, etc.  That type of think.  good luck though...

Orange oil can burn a dog, as can citrus oil. If advantix is the problem, I would stay away from those oils. Do you have a flea problem?
Mario, if you've been using that stuff for nearly a year, it has IGR ingredient, so flea eggs won't hatch...the life cycle is broken.

I did not read all of this but I will say, I have one male who went nuts itching after ADVANTIX 2. He now wears the Seresto collar. We use Frontline Plus and Advantage in non tick season. Biospot is quite harsh, has more crap in it and can irritate, but my dog was itchy all over from Advantix 2. However not the ears...just body. Did not effect others but it did him.

Damnit man, this stuff is like rocket science, whats good flea tick stuff then, i dont like the ideal of collar, it can break meck hair off and they r beautiful withoit them, my dogs never wear collards or any kind, julius k9 harnesses for walks. I didnt start wit advantix to fix an out break, i was using it to prevent

Then stop using it. It's not something that should be used without cause. I use biospot if my dogs are exposed to fleas. I haven't applied biospot or any other flea killer on my dogs for years because I haven't had a flea problem since 1994, when I started using biospot when I brought fleas home on my dogs that were on the road with me. Any flea killer is too toxic to use on a dog every single month. This winter you shouldn't have fleas because it's cold this winter. Come spring, if you see any fleas (dog park is a good place to pick up flea infestation) then apply Biospot as directions dictate.

Few questions,
1, have you moved recently
2, have you added new plants, grass to your garden
3, bought anything new for your home lately,
4, are you walking in a new areas
5, are there any new seasonal weeds growing ATM
6, are you using any new products eg cleaners,
7,had your carpets cleaned recently,
8, this list could keep growing so try to think what could be new / different in your environment.
