What makes you the expert on what posts are facts & which are pure speculation?

How do YOU know what any of the other posters know or don't know?

Dawn what a great picture that is of Embroh, to bad your the only one who can see it, wonderful pic for your case . its a shame you still don't get it.very sad.ok maybe the dogs weren't starving, but knowingly putting those dogs back into those disgusting crates and cages with 3 and 4 inches of  feces is a total disregard of any kind if caring for those dogs.and you know it . There's a picture on the news site, showing the inside of one crate with at least 3 to 4 inches of dog crap, ,its the pictuer that shows the inside crate with a steel bowl upside down, and the dog crap level with the top of the bottom of the bowl. Thats 3 to 4 inches deep. That doesn't happen in 24 or 36 hrs, maybe a month or mor time.and please stop saying how when the truth comes out will eat crow.when the truth that we all know does come out will see who will be eating crow and who will be eating steak.just watch out, I hear those feathers hurt on the way down.

And the picture of Frank with Embroh on Franks lap, was taken after Frank had him for awhile.you can tell by how happy the dog is.one more thing Dawn you shouldn't worry about Google my name, look at yours now, having 39 dogs seized for inhumane conditions is going to be a great legacy to leave for the breed, you always said how you wanted to leave your mark and an impression, well you succeeded.Well done.

IMHO the Vet who Volunteers for CGHS will shown his records for severly underweight dogs including their weights, just remember that this wonderful Vet who talks to the dogs & puppies and says "Don't worry, we saved you" is the same Vet who recommended MY dog Nando be put to sleep.  Nando is NOT between a few days and 7 years old, he is 9 years old & cannot be trusted around strangers.  He is close to impossible to handle when giving him his meds and especially with his SEVERLY infected ear & infected wound on his face still puts up a damn good fight.  DV had this dog on the same exact medicine & dosage as the Vet for CGHS gave him.  Guess what, he was not going to improve because his kind of infection was resistant to this.  Why did this Vet not culture this animal that needed help?  Why condemn a dog who is wanted & loved to death when his owners are pleading for him to be returned?  This is a NO KILL shelter for Gods sake.  Why was he given grain food when this is the reason he gets ear infections to begin with?  Why did CGHS tell us after one weeks time that his ear infection was "MINOR"?  Why did they say they had no chip number that we supplied? Why did CGHS say one dog was immediately given back to his owner because they had proof of ownership? They had control of him from February 8th until March 7th, that is NOT immediate.  Why did they curse us & call us names everytime we called regarding his condition?  His photo IMHO should have people who love dogs outraged much more than filthy crates.  Nando is doing great and not one but two qualitfied Vets who care about animals disagree with CGHS Vets opinion.  He was stitched up by them with 12 stitches when it was still draining and caused a abcess to form the size of a golf ball.  My point is that when a Vet Volunteers for a Humane Society who has already raided a place & seized animals that were not on deaths doorstep they will do whatever it takes  and say things that are untrue.  Where were the crates piled on top of each other?  These dogs did not know what grass felt like under their feet?  Some of the females are pregnant & they will be spayed & the puppies aborted?  They were not pregnant, they were overweight.  All these animals belong to CGHS & were surrendered & will all be spayed/neutered.  SHAME on them for keeping my dog from getting the treatment he was entitled to and deserved.  IMHO we finally got him back because he was unadoptable and very hard to handle.  He deserves to live out his last years of his life at home with people that love him and want him. Instead of saving him they almost killed him, the only thing I can say they did right is to finally return him to us instead of putting him to sleep, I would have died right along with him if this had happened, I do have to thank God & no one else that Nando is safe at home & doing his job again which is keeping our home safe.

I may be crazy, but I'm now in the habbit of taking daily photos of my dogs, (sitting running standing playing), pictures of them eating and drinking and of their kennels. I am also taking all my dogs to the vet once a month to get their weights recorded in their medical records. Not sure it will make a difference if someone reports me and my dogs taken by the local SPCA or AC.

@Nando's owner:

Why did you leave your beloved, elderly pet with a difficult infection and particular feeding requirements with someone who does not recognize that the excrement of filth in the cages needs daily cleaning?

@Sitasmom:

If you leave your animals to live and feed in their own filth, please take pictures and share. Then I will be glad to report you.

Nando was not in a cage or crate.  Who said all the dogs were in crates?

by joanro on 29 April 2014 - 14:04

SM, welcome to fascism.
At the commentor who is jolly about turning people in.......AC HS only needs to conjur up a reason to conduct a raid so they can fulfill their demand for purebreds. Then they can restock with purebreds...if anyone has noticed, people who don't want to "buy" but "adopt", always want a purebred. The mutts are put down and the pure bred get "adopted" (sold). Ps. Not saying this 'rescue' wasn't necessary.

@Nando

Point one: According to you, "... (Nando) ... cannot be trusted around strangers.  He is close to impossible to handle..." , and you say he was allowed to roam free where there were dozens of dogs of all ages and sexes? Interesting in a negligent way, especially by someone touted as a top flight professional, but not really a good defense.

Point two: Even if your scenario is proven true and unwise, why would that make the other dogs left and fed in their own filth be okay?

by top dog on 29 April 2014 - 15:04

Nandos owner, your BS is as deep as the crap in the cages we all saw. If you loved your dog so much, please tell us how you would leave him in such disgusting conditions. Knowing he had such a bad infection on the side of his face.with all the filth he was living in did you expect it to heal. Please tell us we need to know. Just for one minute would you live in that house or even go there to visit.How dare you and some others responding to this terrible case of neglect and abuse ignore the way these poor dogs we're living.You say you love your dog, then how is it your not one bit pissed off the way your dog was being cared for.And why was he even there.did he have that hole in his head before you dropped him off at Auschwitz, for a vacation of hell.

I just don't get it.These dogs we're in bad condition, under wieght, maybe not to the point ofsome other dogs we all seen, but to leave these dogs to sleep and be trapped for days on end in those conditions is sick. There are NNOOO !! Excuses Non. I bet anything that you have never even been to either house, ever.you know why, because they never let anyone come there . It's always the guilty ones that scream the loudest.
