Maybe this particular person no longer believes there is much left to salvage?

I talked to the Vice President of WDA, Carl Smith, and he has no idea what you are referring to.

There is no meeting or event going on in CO to save, salvage, or dismantle WDA.

OGBS, who did you talk too?
Is the a current WDA official or someone that's jumped ship to GSDCA?
IMO, if you want to know what's going on, you need find a different source - prez, vprez are always good choices....

I stand by what I was told and what I wrote. If the person who told me was incorrect on the date and what is being discussed, or some of what I was told was, "tongue in cheek",  then I accept responsibility for posting incorrect information. I too, however, am a little confused about this. Sita'sMom says something is, or was, happening in Colorado. Bzcz says that Carl Smith says, no. Which is it and what is going on? Is this concerning the next scheduled court dates? Any info is always helpful. Secrets and lies are what has whittled down the WDA to virtually nothing.

Something happened in Colorado, yes, just before the combined qualifier, its old news - remember?

Colorado is the state the the WDA is incoprorated in, so it was the correct state to deal with it.

I will not repeat conversations i've had in private, becasue they are private. I will however say, any WDA that wants to know what's going on, you're welcome to speak to your local regional director, any regional director, the vp or prez...

If you're not a wda member, I don't know what business it is of yours, except to put your nose where it doesn't belong.

OGBS, you stand by what?  You didn't say anything that was noteworthy.  Just presented your own prejudice that WDA shouldn't exist and "it's probably time to move on".

I just got off of the phone with Dan Yee, President of WDA.  NOTHING is happening in Colorado with WDA today.

OGBS can stand by it all he wants, there's nothing there to stand by.

Just someone spreading rumors with not an ounce of fact to support it.

I've known Carl for years and consider him a friend.  I trust him implicitly

I am still confused on what is going on, what the current state of the WDA actually is? I have read a lot on here in regards to the GSDCA reforming a new WORKING ARM and I thought that I read that they had already put a board together, I think it was in the 'GSDCA Message to it's Members' thread. It appears to me that most of you on this thread know the key players of both organizations pretty well, so if you were to be a betting bunch, would you continue to plan your upcoming trialing seasons with the WDA in mind? Do you feel somewhat confident that the rest of 2014's events will still be available to compete at and that scores and titles earned are going to be recognized? I really am asking these questions as a noob in the sport and one who is currently grateful to not know about the drama history that i have read bits and pieces about. I am def one of those "I just want to train, compete and socialize with others in the sport" kind of people. But i also understand that in order to do that, there are clubs/people who take on the thankless tasks of ensuring there are trials, secretaries, judges and tracking, ect... Even though i am a member of a GSDCA club, i have not yet become a member of the GSDA itself and mainly because i am not all that into the ASL as, to me, they have altered the dog to be almost another breed entirely. I have an average German WL dog and the GSDCA club i am a member of laughs at me in good humor as most of them are only interested in AKC showing. I am just curious if most of you really think that the GSDCA is going to actually turn its back on the SchH Sport people or if the WDA will actually become a new entity of itself and actually hold its own seat?
