This is the last post i'll make, sorry to be off topic. GSD Lineage, the conduct is VERY BAd...deliberately driving all over tracks laid for a trial and refusing to move off the field so that the trial could commence is EXTREMELY BAD behavior. Next time there's a trial near any one of you reading this, get in your vehicle after the tracks have been laid and drive all over them, then refuse to get off the field. I'd like to know what action would be taken against you.

Mystere, thank you for the nasty PM saying i am lying about the goings on at that trial, and that i have no credability, and then blocking me. You were not there, and can not or will not answer my question regarding the the signed statements by the participants of the trial. Seems that you are the one without credibility and are disingenuous spreading misinformation about something of which you have no first hand knowledge. If the signed statements had been presented to the BOI, the videos would not be needed. Like so many things in life, the most important person involved in a dispute will win because they have the people with power who will scew the facts in their favor.

I tend to be with Blitzen - every attempt within GSDCA to promote the "working dog" is a step into the right direction.

I really don´t know enough about GSDCA-WDA or the people involved in this struggle, but they should be able to find a way working together, not working against each other.

If you think about the very few people involved in dogsport within your country, they really should know that they need every single member.

Like "Joanro", I too got a negative PM from the anonymous "Mystere" who immediately block me also.

IMO if the GSDCA/AKC does become vested in IPO trials there will be a lot more transparency in how the trials are run than there appears to be now.  Not so many chances for local clubs to make their own rules. All written complaints would need to be reviewed by an independent trial board and, if found valid, handed over to a grievence committee appointed by both clubs. One of the rules of  AKC breed clubs is generally that no one can serve on any disciplinary board if they know the involved people personally. That should be a good thing for IPO in the US and it might lead to some returning to the sport.

Excellent points, Blitzen. The involvement by GSDCA/ AKC would also likely enforce uniform judging in ipo, something which is basically devoid in the sport here in the US.

I'm not trying to be smart mouth just curious with this question.  But how many of you who are bad mouthing the wda are actually members of the wda.  and if you are a member do you actually volunteer your time?

Ridgie, voluteer in what capacity? The people who would be members pay dues and usually pay entry fees, pay for travel, pay for dog food, etc. The organisation hires people to run it....Don't they?
