Yes Basco really produced a lot of tough dogs. Here is one of them. The dog on the left (Handler in yellow) 9month old.

Basco is black jacks brother . Litter mate .

by Staatsmacht on 04 June 2014 - 13:06

Basco is full brother to Black Jack and Balko.Basco was sold because of his name, did he have the quality like Balko, no!! that is like so many times in dog history , one dog get handled on big trials ,the other one get promoted and the other one get sold because of his brothers names.

he was first in England and now i think he is in Brazil.he was sold by Sauer who also is owner of Balko.

The mother line of these dogs is out standing and in combination with Tyson a really well combination.

No the two dogs in the video are not silbings, the other black one is from some where else.

We had the same situation a few years ago with Nick Heiligenboesch and his brother Natz, Nick was the out standing dog in his litter, some people have use Natz because he was the better looking one, more size, more color, more bones but not the work athic you need for breeding.on the end we all know that Nick was the way  better producer.

I see so Basco the full brother to Black Jack was the sire to the very weak black dog at the left in the video, yes I too really like the pedigrees of these 3 brothers,so is it fair to say that either Black Jack or Balko are much better producers than Basco ?  or is it just more complicated than that just depending the most on what females any of them are matched up with ? ,of the 3 the only one that I,ve noticed being promoted as a stud is so far is Black Jack it looks like the Teikerhook kennel likes to use that male. It would be nice to see MORE offspring of the brothers and how the working drives of pups are turning out.

Hello,

I´m Basco´s owner and the breeder of that black puppy. His mother is not a proven female, that was her first litter. But she comes from good bloodlines. Probably i made a mistake when i chose that puppy for his owner. He was one of the best for food and prey drive. all of them used to bite everything, tugs, leather, plastic, balls....

Since i went to USA with that puppy and left with his owner, i´m in contact asking about the dog and he told me the dog was ok, very active, self-confident, good drives., super in obedience........about 2 months ago he sent me that video and told the bitework wasn´t good.

His littermates owner´s are happy with their dogs. Some being trained for police, schutzhund....

Usually Basco´s puppies are serious, dominant, self-confident, solid nerves and agressive like him. They fight a lot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev2uCn8BGQE

Before buying Basco i asked Jorg Sauer, Tyson´s owner and Basco´s handler during his titles. He told me the dog was very good, but too dominant for sport. Then i sent an email to Lucie Backer, Basco´s breeder and Black-Jack´s owner and she told me he  was a very good dog, but to be carefull about his agression. Probably he is the most dominat between the 3 brothers. I sent emails to breeders who had used Basco ans most of them gave me the same opinion: his puppies are dominant and self-confident and solid nerves, super in protection. To give good puppies for sport, the female should have high prey drive because he don´t increase these drives in his progeny. That was exactly what i was looking for, because my females come from traditional sport lines, crazy for ball and everything that move, but not so real in protection.

So, i didn´t buy Basco because of Balko or Black Jack. I bought him because he was what i was looking for. Of course that being brother of  good dogs is even better!!!!

Some breeders and friends that knew Tyson and Basco personally, tell that Basco is one of the most typical Tyson´s son.

I´m not here to say that he is suuuuper, better than this or that dog. But i saw the topic about Tyson and i found informations that i don´t agree. I´ve seen posts where people  say bad things about some dogs trying to put these dogs down and promote their own dogs.  I don´t think that it works. Show people how good is YOUR dog and let them have their own conclusions :)

Hi Dimaz

hope you do well.

you are absolutly right with that : Show people how good is YOUR dog and let them have their own conclusions :)

It is all time hard when you try to produce a good dog and it does not work out, but it is for sure double hard for the owner of the dog.you invest time and money and on the end it does not work out.

maybe you can send me some video of the litter mates, i asked all ready M. but he also did not see any.
