Have you purchased or are thinking of purchasing a dog from AnezkaK9 LLC and Julie Leoni (Bernet)? Look here for the truth and think again. You will be promised a health guarantee, contract/receipt of payment and full AKC registration for your dog. You may not receive any of it.

If you have purchased a dog from this kennel and have not received the AKC registration for your dog yet we want to hear your story. OR If you would only like to learn more, please visit us at this Facebook group page.

Please keep it clean folks. This is for informational purposes. It is NOT a bashfest. Tell your story and be truthful about it.

This is my dog, Jaxon, out of the Hanach Jipo-Me / Art ze Sumavské doliny litter. My mother purchased him for my wife and I as a 13th wedding anniversary gift. We took ownership in September of 2012 and still have not received our health guarantee, contract, proof of payment (I have cancelled checks and Delta Cargo shipment paperwork in hand) or our registration papers from AnezkaK9 LLC. AKC International has informed us that Hanach Jipo-Me was converted from CMKU to AKC in late 2013 but the "J" litter was never registered.

I'm sorry you are going through this. There seems to be a lot of this happening lately. I hope going public with your fight helps you get what is owed to you in your dog. Good Luck!

Honesty may be an issue with her. http://www.justice.gov/usao/mow/news2009/bernet.com.htm

Yes. Unfortunately, we found this out well after purchasing the dog. Had we known prior, a transaction never would have taken place.

The whole thing is mind boggling.

Sept 2012, Cate arrived in the US... June 2014 & TWO litters later, Cate is still not AKC registered nor has an attempt been made, according to the AKC. I purchased a pup in Nov of 2012, from the litter born Oct of 2012 (the 29th, not the 31st as she claims). I have yet to receive papers, a contract or a health guarantee. Havoc was shipped with mange (can see his thinning fur in his puppy pic) & full of worms (at which time the vet stated there was zero proof of worming so he ended up on a strong dewormer, antibiotic and Ivomec). Julie Bernet promised many things and fell thru on all of them, save your money (the lines are available elsewhere with contracts, registration and guarantees). She has promised many times that she would have papers and in one of her final messages to me she made it clear that I would not be getting papers before she blocked me (her fav pastime).

OP, I posted the following on the Jordan Haus thread and was met with stunning silence as a reply except for the OP of that post claiming he had checked pdb - tho he registered well after he bought the dogs so could not have posted for any info before getting them. I am truly sincere in trying to understand this rush to buy off the web from someone you have no connection with, no idea of their integrity or ethics or quality of their dogs. We get so many of these types of complaints on the PDB it just seems a litte due diligence and a shop local mentality would prevent a whole lot of problems.

So to the folks impacted by this "lady" help us understand what drove you to buy from her in the first place.. This is what I posted on the other thread -

A completely sincere question -

Why oh why would one buy a dog from a website thousands of miles away from a person you do not know and obviously did not do much homework checking out?

I can guarantee wherever you are that there are reputable well known GSD breeders within 100-500 miles ( prob no more than 50-300) of your home base - ie well within driving distance and where you can see and touch the dogs and meet the person selling them ( always a great advantage in evaluating a person).

Please tell me in your search for a GSD did you -

Look for a local training group working in schutzhund since the GSD is the most common dog used for that sport and talk to the folks involved asking them where they got their dogs, who did they know in the area etc?

If no schutzhund group did you contact any local obedience clubs or individual trainers ( since most GSDs need training?) and once again ask for help and information.

If no obedience club ( unlikely) how about a specialty GSD club or an all breed club ( contact AKC , UKC or go to their web site - all the contact info is there). Almost every location in the US is within easy driving distance of a show, a match, an obedience, herding, tracking, agility trial. Did you go to any of those and look for GSD people? ( preferably going to lots of them to learn more re GSDs and their capabilities)

Did you ask vets in your area if they had clients with GSDs that you could talk to?

Did you talk to ANY local people who are involved in GSDs - or even own a GSD? ( I've been known to stop people walking their dog to say Hi, what a handsome boy tell me about him - people love to).

Having decided to buy online, how did you go about it? What brought you to Jordan Haus? What questions did you ask? Did you find out how long she has owned GSDs? Did you find out what she had done with them other than breeding them ( titles in breed, obedience, tracking, herding, agility, schutzhund)- note her accomplishments not titles put on by others who owned the dog before her. Did you ask about the known health problems in her lines - all lines have some health problems that is just reality. Did you have the resources in the gsd world to check out this person and her claimed accomplishments? If not did you google her looking for confirmation that she had that schutzhund title or competed at that akc show ( its all  online today). Did you look for complaints by googling her? Did you go to various GSDboards like this and asked about people's experiences with her? Also how did you determine what an acceptable price for a dog was and what made the price acceptable - a pretty picture, claimed accomplishments, someone's suggestion?

Please I truly would like to know the answers to these questions.

And as a FYI long before the internet I did buy a dog from across country but at that point I had been in the breed a number of years, knew exactly what I wanted (and got) and spent over a year finding it and only bought from far away when I was unable to find it within a 12 hour driving range and only after many MONTHS of discussion and ONLY after vetting the person with some reputable GSD people in her area. I always start locally and always recommend to other folks to do the same especially ones wanting pets because I'm sure they can find what they need it they just take the time to do some homework.

I could not agree with TIG  more.  A small bit of research on the internet, and things like this would not happen. Contacting local training clubs, especially schutzhund clubs, would provide a wealth of information about local breeders, as well as breeders in other parts of the country.

The name BERNET only came to light after the purchase of the dogs. There's more to this action than what is being shed at this time. We are only trying to warn potential buyers and sellers of this person. She fooled Alpinek9 Kennels folks so please give us a break.

Mamy of us have been ripped off in one way or another when purchashig from overseas. I can give you a laundry list from at least 3 different countries... and have decided that from now on, I will only purchase dogs already on the USA,

Sitasmom - These pups were purchased in the United States.

Please reread the postings for details.
