This is so photo shopped. Look closely at the picture, it is obvious someone made an attempt but not a very good one at editing this picture including the poor dog. 

techno-retard here, not sure what i am supposed to see that makes editing so obvious??

i assume it is a real kennel contact details on the pic, why would they photo-shop their own dog to make it look like a hideous monster (my opinion), makes no sense??

perhaps a text translation will reveal a joke?

wow, what prompted that response. you like that look for a gsd??? was i being too harsh on it in terms of the standard? you just lookin for drama?

and yep own four dogs, i have posted about 100 clips of them (surprised you missed them) 1 X gsd, all healthy, free ranging, worked every day until their butts a dragging on the ground, they make me money, i don't pay for titles and i don't sell puppies, i am 48 and don't smoke whoopy weed. my guess is you step on my property with yr dogs you will all leave a bloody mess if i comanded it.....whats your story?

If you google GSD kennels in China you will find many like this and some even heavier.  Lineage and I were checking them out one night.

They love this type of dog the head especially. No photo shopping needed they really do look like this.

They place very well in the show ring in China

WR, yr opinion on if this is a good thing please.

I like a  dog that looks athletic with power, not scrawny coyote looking, with what one used to call a head that looked noble or regal.  

^ very subjective and subject to interpretation. i was hoping you would share your knowledge/experience on a brief comment on how the general type trending in the pic in OP reflects the standard for better or worse.

as far as opinions go i personally like a rangey looking dog, we prolly have oppositte views of what noble, athletic and regal look like. thats why discussions are more educational when referring to the standard.

i see nothing powerful, athletic, noble or regal in the look above. $100 says that dog would not last a minute in my gsd's world and my gsd is as ugly and rangy and ignoble looking as it gets, but by jiminy the sod can haul ass thru the scrub.

I'll jump in on that one vk...that look sucks. It takes away everything a German Shepherd should look like.

I don't know what the chinese are doing to these dogs to get them like that, and if they are doing well in the show rings,  what the hell are they competing against?

much as I hate to agree with vk...I also see NOTHING noble looking about that dog!

The chinese also have some f'ed up logic when it comes to a lot of things tho...jmo
