The GSDCA Helper Committee has been working to develop an outstanding list of Helpers at all levels.  They are proud to publish their list of Club, Regional and National Level Helpers in addition to their Teaching Helpers.  Feel free to reach out to each of these talented individuals and congratulate them!

Thanks for always keeping us apprised of the goings on in the GSDCA.

Just think if we could have one IPO helper list, how much simpler things would be

It's not that difficult,  now.  Both USCA & DVG have aaccessible lists of certified/classified helpers.

so there are at least 3 lists of helpers, all doing pretty much the same stuff.  I still think 1 list is easier

There is just 1 list for me. It,s all in what effects you.

@zdog - Not sure what you mean by "...I still think 1 list is easier". Does the GSDCA have more than one list? Or are you stating that you think all organizations (DVG, UScA, GSDCA) should combine and only have one list and that the GSDCA/AKC join the AWDF?

I've done a lot of IPO trials for different orgs in this country.  They're the same.  No reason we can't just have on pool of helpers from which to choose from.  My WDA certification didn't do anything different than my UScA certification.  Same rules, same exercises, etc.  Both given by very qualified people, though I will say doing the 3 SchHIII routines back to back to back for the WDA cert was a bit more difficult than the single routine I had to do for my USA cert.  Either way, same rules, same exercises, but of course we must remain separate because that's in everybody's best interest :)

zdog--that would mean the different organizations would have to sit down together and actually agree on something, phrase, cold day in hell comes to mind.

I am mostly familiar with UScA, what do the other organizations offer the helpers in terms of training opportunity? Does the DVG and GSDCA have the same requirements for the different helper level classifications? I know that within the UScA there is the Helper College and mentorship, do the other orgs offer this? I am really asking cuz I just dont know? But I really dont understand the need for or reasoning behind the different factions either. Do they all three share similar mission statements as to their purpose? Is it just a matter of All breed vs Breed specific?
