Yes Slam was a very knowledgeable member, he was so nice to me and helped me understand several issues In a simple language.

I want to say few words that are sincere with no politics at all, this forum is ours, yours and mine. Admins have a duty to do, let them do it, from previous experience they will not make concessions to no one , people like you and Kim are very precious to us, we learn from you, at same time we have room for disagreement which I know you don't mind.

In regards to rules, it is the duty of Admins to apply and watch them, let us play within the rules and keep them away from threads as was the case for a long time, they can share opinion  as members but let us not invite them to threads as Admins.

I agree with you,  I didn't invite admin to the other thread.  Hexe and I were having a productive discussion, you and I had an exchange and then they interjected themselves into it. 

I'm not out to push the rules, I'm out here to help others and call it like I see it.  My responsibility is to the dogs and if I can help that through education or helping someone out then it works.  THere is also education to be had and learned from other's mistakes.  The point isn't to brow beat, it's to point out the mistakes and make them a teachable moment for all. 

You and I disagree on what the correct angulation is for a GSD.  How much brow beating or arguing have you and I had over that?

From what I understand Slam was banned from this forum by one of the Admins. .

SLAMDUNC WAS BANNED  SEVERAL times...He was put on a time period and I think Jim finally said  FORGET IT>.

In general we will not talk about bans or reasons why but the rumors and misinformation we will set straight.

No, Slam was never put on a trial period. And we got tired of the constant cutting down of this site, the admins and Oli. We moved on.

Back to the very core of this post, as you see, also look at puppies thread, we can solve and sort things in HOUSE without hard feelings and this should encourage all to post publically.

I have a request to Admins, as you and Matt solved things out in a mature satisfactory way, I don't see a reason not to do same with KIM, we as a family should be more forgetful to each other, hope forgetful is the right word, anyway you know what I mean, right word came to mind, more forgiving, lol.

Since there was no ban on Slamdunc, if there is anything we can do to convince him come back I am ready to be part of that, do you think we should make a seperate post and ask him to come back ?, I can tell him how much I love him, maybe that will come cool on his ear !

Ibrahim, thank you for your thread.  You are a voice of reason, and I want to let you know that I applaud your efforts to bring a positive perspective back to this forum.  I lurked for a couple of years and then finally created a login and then finally posted when I felt I had something to contribute.  But all of you longtime members, please know that, especially the frequent posters with knowledge and experience to share, I appreciate the information on this forum.  It helped me raise my then puppy.  It helped me make him a better family dog and companion in the area where we live.  It helped me train him in IPO.  And, later, this forum helped me figure out his health problems with his allergies. German shepherd dogs, dog behavior, and dog training are all fascinating to me and I enjoy reading the threads on this forum.  I'm still a newbie with much to learn and I miss the threads from the knowledgeable posters of the past.  I keep hoping they'll come back, all of them, even the most controversial of posters, because if it's about the dogs, I want to read what they have to write.

Ibrahim I think you would make a great diplomat  I think it would be great to have Slam back, He brings a real balance to many of the topics. He also has hands one experience with real working dogs. I for one miss his input...............sure many others feel the same way.
